Tension filled the air between Arslan and Aaron as Arslan's sharp words fell heavily on him.
"This world is much more complex than you think, Arslan," Aaron stated.
"I know it very well, Aaron. It is the same world that took away my family from me!" Arslan nervously replied. The memory of his killed family was difficult to accept. His eyes were filled with hatred towards those who allowed that to happen,
"But surely, I thought you could hold back from killing two people in front of a child! Uncle Joseph would have harshly punished you!" Arslan pointed out as he remembered his uncle's upright values.
Aaron stayed silent for a moment, then he sighed and calmly continued,
"You know nothing of how this world works, Arslan. Nothing about those who contend the power to rule over it," He said, "Miss River is the highest Authority in the River family till my Lord is absent. It is my utmost duty to comply with every request she makes."
