"D-Dan-ah…" called Lia.
"Who said you're not beautiful?" asked Dan as he extended his arms asking Lia to be in his embrace. Without having any thoughts, Lia straight away jumped into his embrace and hug him tightly. Without she knows, she cried. Dan, who heard her cries, he broke the hug and take a look on Lia's face. Lia was looking at him with tears running down her cheeks and as always, Dan would be the one to wipe her tears away.
The face that she's been longing for, the voice that she's been wanting to hear, a hug from him that she missed the most. He's finally standing in front of her.
"I missed you." Said Lia as her hands encircled around his waist.
Dan was looking at her as he caressed her hair gently. How he missed caressing those silky hair of her.
"I missed you too." Said Dan as he pulled her into his embrace again and kissed her hair gently. "It's cold here… let's talk somewhere else…" said Dan as he brought Lia to sit at a café in the resort. Luckily it was still open, and seems like they are one of the last customers. Once they got their hot drinks, both of them went to sit side by side on a chair. Lia hooked her arms with Dan and their hands intertwined together. They missed each other a lot.
"By the way, I have sent you a photo today… and you haven't replied it. So I thought maybe you're busy… then suddenly you showed up in front of me…" smiled Lia.
"Sorry, I was on my way here and just notice that my phone battery is dead." Said Dan.
"I thought we're meeting next week…" said Lia in her lower voice.
"I just missed you so much… so I texted Mina and she said you guys are already here… so, without thinking, I just drives here." Answered Dan. Then, both of them were silent for a while enjoying their moment together till Dan broke the silence.
"Haera was my fiancée but not anymore…" said Dan and Lia was surprised by it.
"What happened… is it because of me?" asked Lia but Dan shook his head and held Lia's hands.
"No. it's not because of you." Answered Dan softly and caressed her hands gently. "It's because we both do not love each other. We both have our partners. She had a boyfriend, and I have you. So we both decided to cut off our engagement and cancel our wedding." Added Dan. "Lia, I'm sorry I didn't tell you about this. I told my dad I rejected her last summer and I didn't expect my dad to not listen to me… so when she came back the other day, which is on my birthday, my dad told me to take care of her because she has never been here… she stayed in France… there is nothing going on between us now… we're just friends…" explained Dan.
Lia was listening to him while looking at his face, knowing that he speaks the truth. Dan would never lie to her and she was so glad that everything was okay now. "I'm really sorry…." Said Dan.
"I forgive you." Said Lia and Dan smiled. "You're okay with it?" asked Dan and Lia nodded. "I know you won't lie to me and I know you must have your own reason…" said Lia. Dan felt relieved and brought Lia near him he caressed her shoulders gently. He missed her, a lot. "I thought I might lose you…" said Dan loud enough for Lia to hear.
"Dan-ah," called Lia.
"Yes?" said Dan. Then, Lia sit up straight and looking at Dan. She wanted to tell him about the job offer that his dad offered her the other day but at the same time, she doesn't wanna tell him about it. Feeling scared if Dan does not agree with her choices. Dan noticed that Lia was quiet and just stares at him without saying anything.
"Lia-ah, what's wrong?" asked Dan in worry.
"Your dad offered me a job… and he wants me to stay in the company and joined a project with him…" answered Lia.
"Oh my god, that's great!" said Dan. But he noticed that Lia's face was not as happy as him.
"What's wrong? You don't wanna stay there? Did he do something to you?" asked Dan but Lia shook her.
"I didn't know if I should accept his offer or not…" said Lia.
"And why is that?" asked Dan as he brush her fringe to the side that almost covering her eyes from talking with him.
"Because the project is in Malaysia, and I have to stay there for a year." Answered Lia. "We just got back together, but I don't wanna leave you again…." Said Lia as tears escaped her eyes. "I don't even wanna leave my family… I'm the eldest, my other siblings will need my help… I haven't told them yet…" added Lia.
Dan, who saw her tears came out of her eyes again, wiped it using his thumb.
"Just go… okay? It's a big opportunity…" said Dan softly. "But what about us?" asked Lia. "Well, we can have a long distance relationship just like how other people did~" said Dan as he let out a smile. "About your siblings, don't worry, I can take care of them if they needs help. Plus, Jun ah and Mina is very close to me now~" added Dan.
"Don't worry, alright?" said Dan.
"But what about us?" asked Lia as she looked at his face with her half teary eyes.
"We can have a long distance relationship~" said Dan. He tucked a strand of Lia's hair behind her ears. "As long as we both stay loyal and trust each other, we can do it. We can video call if we miss each other… plus, it's only a year… we can do it." smiled Dan tries to assure Lia that everything will be okay. Knowing that it was a big opportunity for Lia, he doesn't wanna stop her from going even though he knows that they will miss each other a lot.
"Will you be okay?" asked Lia again and Dan nodded. "Don't worry, right after my internship ends, I will focus more on Time Studio with Jisung hyung… I told my dad about it. I know he won't agree with it but whatever, I have my own choice." Said Dan. "Don't worry, alright?" said Dan and Lia nodded.
"Alright then." Said Lia and she finally let out her smiles and Dan literally smiled too seeing her.
"When are you leaving?" asked Dan.
"Probably right after our semester ends." Answered Lia and Dan nodded. "Then, we should spend our time together a lot so that you won't miss me too much later~ and also, to make up with our one month of not talking to each other too." Said Dan and Lia nodded happily.
"Of course." Grinned Lia.
After so long of not talking with each other, both of them have a talk till late night. Lia would tell him every single thing that had happened to her. She even talks about how she cried in the restaurant that day when she had a dinner with In Ha and Liyli saying how much she missed him. Meanwhile Dan, he can't help but to listen attentively at her. He would let out a chuckle if it's funny, and he would fix her jacket if he noticed that she's feeling cold. He would always smiles looking at how happy she talked to him.

Their last semester of being a university student has ended and a week before their graduation day, both Lia and Dan was hanging out together every single day. As what Lia had told him before, she would leave to Malaysia the next day after their graduation ceremony which is in 2 days.
Lia had a talk with her parents about going to Malaysia for a year and both of them agreed with her decision. Meanwhile as for her siblings, both of them were happy and sad at the same knowing that she won't be at home for a year.
"Don't worry mom, I'll be leaving with a few of my friends… I'm not alone~" said Lia and her mom nodded.
"Noona, buy me some gifts later, okay? I wanna show off to my friends!" said Jun Ah and Lia just shook her head looking at how silly her brother is.
"Unnie, will Dan oppa be leaving too?" asked Mina suddenly as she went near Lia.
"Why? Afraid that Dan oppa won't be here? Yah, Dan is mine." Said Lia as she sticks her tongue playfully at her sister.
"Show off. But Dan oppa is nice to me okayyy~" said Mina as she leans her back against the chair and crossed her arms and Lia chuckled seeing her.
"No, he won't leave. He will be here… so if you need help, you can ask for him, alright?" said Lia and Mina nodded happily.
"When are you leaving?" asked Mr. Han "Next week. Right after my graduation day…" answered Lia and her father nodded and wished her a good luck. Both of her parents are so proud of her. Then, on that day, she spends her time with her family knowing that she's going to miss them later once she left the country.
A few days later, Lia was on her way to Time Studio to meet Dan because they promised to take a graduation photo together. Of course, Dan would be the photographer. As soon as she reached the studio, she noticed that Dan was attending a customer with their family photo. So, she decided to wait for him at the counter and have a talk with Jisung.
"Jisung oppa, annyeong~" greeted Lia as she take a sit in front of the counter.
"Oh Lia-ah, you're here… wait, I'll go get Dan." Said Jisung.
"No need, I'll wait for him." Said Lia with a smile.
"By the way, I heard you're going to Malaysia for work, am I right?" asked Jisung and Lia nodded. "Yeah, I'm leaving on a day after tomorrow…" answered Lia. "I'm so happy for you both." Said Jisung suddenly. "Dan finally gets to do what he wants and focus more with the studio, you both are graduating, and you both are finally back together." Smiled Jisung. "I'm sure Dan gonna missed you a lot." Said Jisung. Then, he gestures Lia to be near him and whispered,
"There are days, when he cried alone in the studio saying how much he missed you." Said Jisung.
"Really?" asked Lia and Jisung nodded. Then, while both of them were whispering, noticing that Dan was walking towards them.
"What are you both whispering about, huh?" asked Dan but they shook their head in unison.
"Nothing. Now go and take your graduation photos. Or you guys might as well take your wedding photos too~" teased Jisung and that made Lia blushed. Then, after waiting to pack his cameras and his graduation robe, both of them went to Yeouido Park for their graduation photo.
