"Oi!"
Sedna jerked out of her thoughts at the loud exclamation. She turned her head and saw a woman wearing a dark cloak standing across the street.
As she looked up, Sedna was stunned by her. The dark cloak drowned the woman's overall figure and half of her face was covered by a dark mask. But what took her breath away was her eyes. Those beautiful crystal blue eyes... Those blue eyes were so hypnotizing and alluring that they reminded Sedna of the orbs of stars in the night sky.
The woman looked in her direction and Sedna was confused by the emotions she saw in those eyes. Her blue eyes were looking in her direction lazily but Sedna saw a glint of ruthlessness in them.
Sedna was confused when she heard another shout, this time from behind her.
"Catch that Bitch!"
And before she could register what was happening, she saw guys passing through her as they dashed toward the woman. They were bulky and the clothes they were wearing seemed expensive too. All of them looked like giants compared to the woman in the dark cloak. But, Sedna was strangely confident that the woman wouldn't be harmed. She was surprised by such thoughts.
The woman took a step back. And when Sedna thought the woman would run away, she saw the woman placing her bag or something on the pavement. Those bulky men were rushing towards her.
The woman then removed her cloak revealing a plain sand-colored sleeveless stola inside, and then her fair and thin hands, and finally her slender fingers. She didn't remove her mask so, her face couldn't be seen.
One of the men reached out to touch her.
The woman took another step back and sent a strong kick into that guy's stomach.
Fast and Furious.
The man staggered backward a few steps but was supported by the other guys. Another guy stepped forward quickly, seeking revenge.
The woman swiftly turned her body and avoided his grip. Before he knew it, she'd grabbed his collar and punched him hard in the face.
The second guy fell backward and reached to touch his face, and all he saw was blood.
The woman did not stop there.
The last guy tried to punch her in the face but she outsmarted him and grabbed his wrist before shoving her entire body weight at him.
The street was pretty quiet.
Even Sedna had not fully reacted to the situation.
The men who were at least half a head taller than the woman was now heaving and catching their breaths.
One was on the ground, another was puking blood.
The woman clapped her hands seeming satisfied by the result. She looked at the men on the ground and scoffed.
"Trash! Tell that bastard to send someone better next time." Sedna saw the woman pick up her bag and walk past the men leaving the suave words behind.
And as if the cloud had a mind of its own, it slowly moved, following the woman. Its speed was different from earlier and Sedna immediately understood that the cloud was stalking the woman.
The corner of her mouth twitched and just like that they traveled or more accurately "stalked" the woman for quite some time.
After what felt like an eternity Sedna saw the woman reach a deserted area. It seemed like the outskirts as hardly any people could be seen around. She entered an old building and Sedna along with the cloud followed her easily through the walls.
The majestic chandelier hanging from the ceiling greeted Sedna as she entered the room. Even though the outside of the building looked old and shabby, the interior of it looked different. Beautiful wines decorated the walls and stairs and the light from the chandelier reflected on the spotless floor. A big majestic tree with cherry blossoms was in the center of the hall hypnotizing everyone who look at its way with its mesmerizing beauty.
She looked around trying to find the woman who disappeared as soon as she entered the building.
And as if she knew, a strange room flashed in her mind and surprisingly the cloud moved in that direction as if it could read her mind.
The cloud moved up the stairs and along the hallway and finally reached a room. Sedna wasn't even surprised anymore when the cloud passed through the door. She heard some noise of water running from the corner which she assumed was the bathroom.
Sedna looked around the room curiously and finally, her gaze landed on the bag that was tossed on the bed. The mask and cloak were also tossed messily on the bed. But what caught her eyes was the thing peeking out of the bag. It looked somewhat similar to the box that Roose gave her in Aruba Mystics.
Sedna got down from the cloud and walked closer to the bed. She hesitated for a second and turned to the bathroom. Hearing the water sound still did not stop, she pursed her lips and extended her hands towards the bag. Surprisingly, she could touch it and when she brought it out, it was the same box Roose gave her.
It was glowing exactly the same way it glowed back in the wooden house. Strange emotions were accumulating in her and she exhaled softly trying to regain her composure. Sedna didn't know why but for some reason she was not at all scared when all these strange things were happening to her.
After giving one last look towards the bathroom, Sedna exhaled softly and opened the box. It made a soft 'click' sound and slowly Sedna lifted the lid. For some reason, her heart was pounding in her chest and before she could look at what was inside it, the door of the bathroom opened and the woman stepped outside.
Clad in a loose bathrobe, with her whitish blue locks cascading down her wet shoulders, the woman stepped out with a towel in her hand.
A loud bang could be heard in Sedna's mind when the woman looked up and locked eyes with her.
