Chapter 31 - 31. The Vampire Kisses

We chuckled in the evening glow, and I put my free arm on his chest and embraced him, as my Gothic Mate delicately stroked my arm.

"Could those be ravens?" I asked, highlighting a whirlwind of dull wings circumnavigating high over the Mansion.

"Those aren't birds- - they're bats."

"Bats! I've never seen bats around here, until you moved in."

"Definitely, we discovered some hanging in the storage room. Jameson set them free. I want to believe that they don't startle you. They're awesome animals."

"It takes one to know one, right?" I indicated.

"Be that as it may, just relax. They never dip down and get tangled in dark black hair like yours. Just in shopping center hair."

"They like hairspray?"

"They can't stand it. They know shopping center hair looks awful!"

I chuckled, and he started delicately stroking my hair. His touch quieted me. I thought I planned to liquefy into the earth.

He was positively taking considerably more time than Trevor had. I started stroking his hair, which was plush from his gel.

"Do bats like gel?" I inquired.

"They love the manner in which it looks with a silk Armani," he prodded back.

I wriggled over him and nailed his arms down. He gazed toward me with shock and grinned. I sat tight for him to kiss me. Be that as it may, he didn't move. Obviously, he didn't move- - I was nailing him down! What was I thinking? "Educate me your number one thing regarding bats, Bat Girl," he asked, as I restlessly gazed down at him.

"They can fly."

"You need to fly?"

I gestured.

He wrestled me over and nailed my arms down. Again I hung tight for him to kiss me, yet he didn't. He just gazed at me.

"So what's your #1 thing about bats, Bat Boy?" I inquired.

"I'd need to say," he started, thinking, "their vampire teeth."

I panted, however it wasn't a result of Alexander's remark. A mosquito had chomped my neck.

"Try not to be apprehensive," he said, crushing my hand. "I will not bite...yet." He snickered at his joke.

"I'm not apprehensive. A mosquito tore into me!" I made sense of, scratching like frantic.

He inspected the imprint like a specialist. "It's beginning to enlarge. We would do well to get you ice."

"It'll be alright. I get these constantly."

"I don't believe you should tell your folks you approached my home and got nibbled!"

I needed to tell the entire world I was chomped, however that mosquito had demolished everything.

He brought me into the kitchen and put ice on my small injury. I stood by listening to the pendulum clock toll away. Nine...Chime...Ten...Chime. No! Eleven...Chime. Frig! Twelve. It couldn't be! "I must go!" I shouted.

"Unexpectedly early?" he asked, disheartened.

"Any second my father will call from Vegas, and on the off chance that I'm not there to reply, I'll be grounded forever!"

If by some stroke of good luck I could remain and live with Alexander in his loft room and have Creepy Man serve me Count Chocula oat each day...

"Gratitude for the blossoms and the supper and the stars," I expressed swiftly by Becky's truck, scrambling in my handbag for the keys.

"Much obliged to you for coming."

He looked marvelous and stunning, and some way or another desolate. I needed my Gothic Vampire Mate to kiss me now. I needed his mouth on my neck and his spirit inside mine.

"Raven?" he said carefully.

"Indeed?"

"Would you like me to..."

"Indeed? Indeed?"

"Could you like me to...invite you once more, or could you fairly sneak back in?"

"I'd very much want to be welcomed," I replied, pausing. Assuming he kissed me presently, we'd be reinforced forever.

"Awesome then, at that point. I'll call you." He kissed me delicately on the cheek. The cheek? In any case, it was gentler and more heartfelt than the time Jack Patterson had kissed me outside the Mansion, and substantially more heartfelt than Trevor pushing me against a tree. Also, however much I needed a genuine kiss- - a vampire kiss- - he was evolving me. I was changing into a fainting noodle-legged, goopy, googly-looked at, drippy marshmallow young lady. I might in any case feel his beautiful, full lips against my face as I drove home. My body shivered done with fervor, yearning, enthusiasm - sentiments I had never had an outlook on a person. Also, as I scratched the chomp that wasn't his, I could trust I wouldn't transform into a parasitic mosquito.

"Father's clearing up for Becky the standards of blackjack," Billy murmured restlessly, as I went through the entryway. "He's now informed her concerning each club and the historical backdrop of Siegfried and Roy. He's running out of lodgings on the strip!"

I murmured, "Much obliged," to Becky and immediately got the telephone.

"Becky loves to talk," my father started. "I had no clue she was so interested with Las Vegas. In the future I'll bring her. She lets me know you all have been watching vampire motion pictures throughout the night."

"Yeah..."

"Vengeance of Dracula for the 50th time?"

"No. It's another one. It's called Vampire Kisses."

"Is it great?"

"I offer it two go-ahead!"
