The atmosphere was tensed, no one could stop what was going on. "Father, I'll save this little girl even if it costs my bloody life!", Zita screamed. "What a fun game this is", Dy chuckled. With swirls of fire going round, wings portraying hatred and claws like that of a tiger, the two angels could be seen ready for battle. "Arrrgh", the cry of a girl shook everyone. No one could see the arena, it was dark and cries were being heard. Is Zita dead? The tension was high. Suddenly, blood traces were seen flowing on the floor, no one could decipher where it was flowing from and whose blood it was. Jay could be heard laughing and that was when it dawned on everyone that Zita has been killed. Dy was on the verge of tears, "no!", she screamed bitterly causing the windows to crack and a mighty thunderstorm was heard. "Zitaaaaaaaaaaa!", she screamed again and this time, the curtains came down and light penetrated into the dark hall. What was seen made everyone speechless.
Alas! Zita made her bloody first kill, she had turned away from her father, taken the girl by the neck and tore her apart. "Good heavens", Dyna screamed. "That's my daughter", Jay shouted as he approached her, his wings disappearing gradually and hugged her. "What have I done?", Zita was dumbfounded. In a split second, she was never aware of what was going on. "My mind went blank, I don't remember anything", she sobbed as she tried releasing herself from the tight hold of her father.
"Zee, you got a beast in you", Dy said as she sprung a high five in the air but Zita ignored. "Mother, this is a dream, I never killed her". "No, it's not a dream. You are of my lineage and of course, the beastly desire to kill resides in you. I noticed the colour of your eyes change and that was the only reason I never made the first attack", her dad explained. "In a nutshell, your true nature is indeed deep within you, so, stop trying so hard to be a bloody human!", he spoke with pride as everyone was ordered to make preparations for a party.
"I am a murderer, I killed the little girl and a part of me enjoyed it, Dy. I think I'm going bad", Zita cried. "Oh! spare me the sympathetic story human tells, don't you get it? You are bad, even worse and you know why? It's because you are from a generation of the so called bloody angels. The earlier you accept it, the better", Dy said as she sipped the newly made wine gotten from the new kill's blood. "Have a sip", she gave a sinister smile.
