Ethan unconsciously scooted over to Rain, feeling scared and vulnerable all of a sudden. At the same time, Popo sensed that the atmosphere turned oppressing and scary, and it immediately coiled its way around Rain's neck for protection and comfort.
The silence continued a bit more until Rain broke it with his words.
"For now, let's continue forward."
Rever sighed. "I guess that's our only option, huh."
Without much choice, the group pressed forward while maintaining a vigilant eye. They were tense and alert for any little signs of fluctuations in the air.
Everyone wasn't comfortable knowing that someone was watching their every move. They wanted to find Arca as soon as possible and get to the bottom of what was happening.
Ethan sighed and muttered in a low tone, yet his voice still resonated in all this silence, "I hope the girls got my message . . ."
Instantly, all three men stopped.
Ethan collided against Rain's back when the latter suddenly halted.
