Rain was taking his time as they walked towards the student council room while Rever was walking with his hands at the back of his head. They noticed that an awful lot of students were running here and there.
"Why are there so many people out of class? I can understand about the first years, but why also the higher years?" Rever asked this question at particularly no one.
Rain didn't respond as he was busy looking ahead. It was somewhat chaotic, and he was careful not to bump someone as he looked for the student counsel sign on every door.
"Hi!"
Both Rain and Rever were startled when out of the blue, a skinny girl with short green hair cut in a very straight line blocked their way. The girl had high cheekbones and was wearing the third-year uniform. She was so skinny that she could pass as a twig. She had an eye-catching mole near her lips. Though she had thin lips, it was so vast that it covered almost half her face.
"Hi! You're first years, right? Have you joined any club yet? How 'bout joining our acting club! You men both look dashing and handsome! You could be our leads!"
The green-haired girl was creepy as her mouth seemed to fit an entire head that Rain and Rever wanted to materialize their weapon just in case she was a beast disguised as a human.
"I promise you that you'll instantly become my male lead! You'll become popular overnight, and girls will flock at you left and right! You'll be a star! A celeb–!"
"No thanks," Rever cut in and grabbed Rain's hand before they dashed like their life depended on it.
However, it was not only that woman who blocked their way as Rain and Rever were ambushed left and right by the higher years to join their clubs.
By the time Rain and Rever arrived in front of the door of the student council, they were in a complete sorry state. Their hairs were disheveled, and their uniforms were wrinkled and unbuttoned, lettering with rips and cuts.
"The hell, man. I only have three of these expensive uniforms! With Arca running one and now THIS?! I'm so going to complain about this to the student council." Rever moped as he ran his hand through his hair.
"Let's just get this done and over with. I'm too exhausted to even care," Rain said with a wry sigh, and he opened the door. He even forgot to knock as his mind was so battered to think about manners.
But as soon as the door opened, Rain immediately shut it tight.
"What's wrong?" Rever asked when Rain just closed the door with a pale face.
Rain didn't answer. Instead, he glanced at the sign on top of the door frame.
[Student Council]
Rain blinked. He continued to stare at the door like he just saw some arcane shuttering event.
"What's wrong with you?" Rever frowned and went ahead and opened the door.
The door creaked, and Rever's eyes popped from their sockets as his jaw dropped.
At the center of the room, where a large rectangle table was laid, were two girls. One girl had long curly light brown hair, and the other had a short pink hair that didn't pass her shoulders.
The one in pink was sitting with a red pouting face while the other girl had her finger on her chin. They were extremely close, like they were about to kiss.
". . ."
". . ."
Rever slowly closed the door.
". . ."
". . ."
"Do you want to meet with the others?" Rever asked with a serious face and voice.
"Sounds like a good plan." Rain nodded in agreement, devoid of any emotion on his face.
As the two guys turned and took their first step, the door flung open, and the two were grabbed by their collar and were pulled inside.
SLAM!
"We didn't see anything! We didn't hear anything! Promise!" Rever hugged Rain while shaking when the girl in pink-haired was looking at them with murderous eyes.
"Everyone. Sit," said that familiar bell-like voice.
Rain and Rever stared at the girl with brown curly hair, sitting pretty with her fingers interlocking on the rectangular table. She was the one they saw in the right of passage!
Rain and Rever glanced at each other, a bit hesitant.
"My lady Tamana said to sit, and you will sit," hissed the girl with pink hair, and Rain and Rever jumped to take their seat.
". . ."
". . ."
Rever constantly took a peek at the girl with pink hair while Rain was checking the little girl with long curly hair sitting at the center table.
Now that Rain had a clear view of the girl, he couldn't help but be amazed at the little girl's beauty.
She was short, about the same height as Rin, but it added to her appeal. She had a cute face blessed with curls of brown hair. Her face looked kind, but her green eyes appeared fierce.
If Silva was considered a mature beauty, Pamela as a bewitching beauty, Felysa as a peerless beauty, Rin as a cute beauty, and Arca as a refreshing beauty, then this girl had the most straightforward natural form beauty of them all. But there was something about her that people couldn't help but be drawn to her.
"A charismatic person." Rain mused to himself.
The girl with brown hair smiled, and the room turned brighter. "Let me introduce myself. My name is Tamana Rogȇnfield, the vice president of the student council."
