Gunshots being fired. My boyfriend gone, my family gone, my will to live... Well that's pretty much never existed. Sucking up my silent cries I knew I had to keep going.

I mustered up what little strength I had left pushing through the fear and pain I was feeling. I grabbed a small camo green object out of the inside pocket of my black jacket. I pulled the silver clip and threw the grenade as I started running.

Even though I knew I had a small chance but I knew it was also my only chance. Blood dripping out my cuts and the bruises and my body aching while dodging the hot led bullets flying through the air.

I heard the explosion as the grenade made impact with the ground and I started to feel the fiery heat against my back. I was sprinting as fast as I could. Was this really gonna be my end?..
