The other bandits flee upon seeing you and Sir Robert. The villagers slowly come out and thank Sir Robert. A couple even thank you. When you tell them your issue with the wagon, a group of villagers come over with supplies and fix it for you. You'd be back on your way in no time, but the villagers insist that you, Sir Robert, and his attendees stay for a small feast. Seeing what little they have, Sir Robert agrees to have a drink with them at the tavern instead.
