"Come now it's time" ahh they're here already huh. "I guess it's already been five days". As I walked out of the dungeon the sons bright rays of light hit my Icy blue eyes my white Chrysalis hair shimmered like diamonds. My mother would complement me on my face when I was a little boy. she reminded me that I was so pretty and that I should choose my Lady wisely. love is the one and only true thing in this world, at least that's what she said. My mother truly believed in a soulmate. she wanted me to marry a nice woman who loved me and took care of me. My father on the other hand chose wealth he said if she doesn't have money she doesn't have anything at all. I beg to differ I don't want love it's the one and only cruel thing in this world love is what caused my father so much agony and pain and love is what struck him to be the way he is now. I will never forgive my father for what he did and I will never forgive my mother for what she did. They both are birds of a feather. They both left me.
"It's time, we shall slay prince Orion!" As I put my head down onto the stone it was cold and dirty, but I could hear my mother's voice she sounded like an angel, and called me her king. As the slayer raised his giant axe i could see my reflection in the metal as it went down to hit my neck. Right before the axe hit me he stopped, it was as if he couldn't move as if the world had stopped it's self. There wasn't any crying or tears of sadness in the background, I couldn't hear my people all I could hear was silence as if there was nothing. I looked up and I saw my mother. She reached out her hand and said "come my king" As I stood up she took my hand and sat me on a Pegasus a horse with wings. she brought me way up above the clouds where there was a palace.
I questioned her, I asked her if this was where I was meant to be. She kept a smile and didn't say anything to me. "Mother? Is this where I'm supposed to be?" She stopped and turned to me "no, you are our king, we have been waiting for you Orion" as I stepped down onto this cloud like terrain she welcomed me into her home kingdom the pedestrians were beautiful. They all had pale skin and beautiful golden eyes my mother's eyes were like Rubys a dark red. As she brought me to the throne she said "this is your kingdom and we are your people who you must protect" I asked her if I was alive? she giggled and Said "of course You are, we would never let our king die" I Questioned my mother, she told me that she was never my mother and that she was my guardian, that she hypnotized my father, making her his wife. She told me it was to protect me and to eventually return me to the throne. She told me about the world above and how there were flying horses and dragons as big as the castles below. When I think about it my castle here was as big as my kingdom below including all the towns and homes just the castle itself was this big. Not even including the villagers all around that made it 100 times bigger. But all I was told was that I was to protect all my people and keep them safe.
I asked her what happened to the woman who birthed me, nothing made sense and this woman for some reason I felt I couldn't trust.
