As team Kami entered Tono they concluded that the most likely place the C rank demons would be located was in the center of the city, where a giant castle was located.
On the way to the castle, Kami sensed an individual following them "I sense a presence is it a demon? No, its presence is too weak even for a D rank demon it's behind that building." Kami thought to himself.
"You three follow me," Kami told his students as they all dashed behind the individual.
The individual knowing they were behind him threw a punch that was easily caught by Kami.
"Who are you?" Kami asked with an intimidating look. This made the individual shutter a little.
"I'm a citizen of Tono" The man replied "I worked here as a merchant."
"What's your name?" Lavender asked. The gentle voice of Lavender helped ease the man and made him feel less scared.
"My friends call me Ghost"
"Ghost? What a weird name" Manjiro said laughing. The name was so weird that it made Shita who was known to not show any comedic properties laugh a little.
"Why are you making your way to the castle, don't you know what danger lies there? That's where the Kitsune siblings live." Ghost said with a frightened look on his face. "Those are the demons who took over this city, I wouldn't go there if I was you."
"We must," Kami spoke "It's our mission as sorcerers to take down those demons, why are you here anyway?"
"I didn't have enough time to escape Tono." Ghost explained, "Now I can't leave because of the two demons guarding the door."
"Well good news for you we took down those two weaklings you call demons," Manjiro said with a confident look.
"What do you mean by 'we' if I remember you were pinned against a tree and needed Kami Sensei to help you," Lavender shouted This caused Manjiro's confident smile to turn into anger.
"Thank goodness" Ghost said happily as he got up and start walking towards the gate. But before he started walking he stopped himself and informed team Kami about one of the three demons "You might not understand this right now but it'll help in the future, be wary of the demon with two tails he's the most dangerous out of the three."
As he says this he starts walking towards the gate.
Keeping in mind what Ghost said team Kami make their way towards the castle.
As they arrived at the door of the castle which was made of pure gold Manjiro impatiently kicked the door open.
"You know you don't have to go so overboard you know," Kami said with an unpleasant look on his face.
"Hahaha so you've arrived Kami Shinto," Said Tamayo who was sitting on the stairs with her older brother Sozo behind her. They both had human features mixed with some fox features. They both had Fox eyes, ears, and tails.
"And I see you brought some of your nasty human children, but I'm not complaining more food for us." These words caused a shiver down Lavender's spine.
"There aura and presence is way more intimidating than the D ranks Manjiro and Shita" Lavender spoke with fear in her voice.
As she said this she felt a hand on the top of her head.
"Don't worry I'm here" Kami said with a smile on his face, but this smile however disappeared when he looked at the two Kitsune siblings. "Now are you ready to die?" Kami spoke with confidence.
The two siblings stood up and ran towards Kami both throwing a series of punches.
Kami however not phased dodges and blocks all the punches and even kicks towards his body and head. Frustrated Tamayo swipes her claws towards Kami nearly missing him and causing him to jump.
"That was a close one." Kami thought to himself. "What It can be!"
As Kami looked in front of him still in the air he saw the third Kitsune sibling dangling from the ceiling.
"I've got you Kami the God of sorcery" As he grabbed onto Kami a portal opened up sending both of them through it.
"Sensei!" Said Manjiro as he tried to dash towards the portal but before he could get there he was intercepted by Sozo who kicked him through the ground sending him to the lowest level of the castle which led to a crater.
"I'll take care of the brat," Sozo said as he jumped down the crater caused by his kick.
"Lavender I'm going after Manjiro," Shita said. Causing Lavender to be shocked.
"Why? Wouldn't it be best if we both took her down and then went after Manjiro?" Lavender said all confused.
"No" Shita replied
"Why not" Lavender shouted
"Did you not see that guy?" Said Shita causing Lavender to become confused. "He had two tails if were going off what that guy said he's the most dangerous, Manjiro can't survive"
"So I'm going after them, I know you can survive against her" as he ran towards the crater a jumped.
"I'm surrounded by idiots," Lavender said letting out a sigh
"Hehehe" Tamayo laughed while licking her lips, "are you ready to die?"
"Where am I?" Kami thought to himself "Can't believe I let my guard down."
"Welcome Kami Shinto" the Kitsune demon spoke, "The names Koneko welcome to my world."
Koneko Just like his younger siblings had human and fox characteristics and he possessed three tails. He wore a white yukata with black details and a green cloud pattern on its bottom. He also wore a dark green jittoku haori with a mon of a black sun over khaki gear.
"World?" Kami said all confused
"Yes you heard me, this is a world that I created" Koneko went on "I have the ability to create worlds and even shift tectonic plates, not only that I can transport myself and anyone to these worlds using portals," Koneko said with a smirk on his face.
"He's not kidding I can't even sense the other's cursed energy," Kami thought to himself
"Kami Shinto here lies the place you die, your resting place."
