Yu Tian Lan was sound asleep in the night when had a dream. In that dream he was facing the Great deity, though Li Shuo had never seen the Great deity and nobody had ever seen him, Yu Tian Lan knew by the great brilliance of light and darkness.
A voice suddenly said "The Dark One opens her eyes, the diabolic world will be unsealed."
The bright light suddenly disappeared and Yu Tian Lan was wide awake. It was morning already with the sun high up.
He suddenly thought about it "That means that the moment Li Nan Feng awakens the mortal realms are going to suffer from unsealing of the diabolic world, but why would the Great deity tell me that now."
Yu Tian Lan stood up in surprise and started dressing.
Yu Tian Lan went straight to Chu manor and headed for Chu Lanlan's room. Before entering he met Chu Jianling who was making it hard for him.
"What are you doing?" Li Shuo asked Chu.
"I should be asking you." Chu Jianling observed Yu Tian Lan suspiciously.
Yu Tian Lan was feeling very anxious and he had to check if Li Nan Feng's spirit was still asleep in Lanlan's body. "I just want to see Lan..."
Before he could finish speaking Chu Lanlan suddenly got out of her room and asked what was going on
Her voice was very cold unlike the usual one and ignited the thirst to kill.
Yu Tian Lan as well as Chu Jianling both looked up at Lanlan then asked in fear "Lanlan are you alright?" Lanlan nodded as a sign to show that she is fine.
Chu Jianling looked at her suspiciously and asked "why are you dressed in red?"
"What?" Lanlan asked again caught off guard. Yu Tian Lan suddenly looked at Lanlan as well.
"I mean you always wear white." Chu Jianling said. "But you don't need to answer, it suits you well."
"I don't know if it's just me but the Chu Lanlan in front of me scares me, I feel that there is something great beneath her." Yu Tian Lan thought with fear raging through his teeth. "The nightmare finally became a reality."
The diabolic world was reforming and the only ones who could stop it were the fate stars. Li Nan Feng had awakened after 74 000 years and she held a danger to the world.
Though the gods from the heavenly empire wanted to destroy her desperately, they couldn't since Yu Tian Lan had used up his one and only chance to find one of the fate stars when they first shined three years ago so she, as an only fellow overlord, was the only faith they had.
The last time 3 years ago instead of finding something that would lead him to the fate stars, Yu Tian Lan found Chu Lanlan being chased by assassins and decided to save her. Things became a mystery since then.
The only conclusion was that the Great deity was creating a puzzle using the overlords' and fate stars' lives.
The heavenly nights were becoming darker and darker. The heavenly god sent a secret message to Yu Tian Lan telling him about the dark nights and also asking him to persuade Li Nan Feng to help him find the fate stars.
Yu Tian Lan had already figured out that Li Nan Feng had awakened.
"But how when the trial isn't over yet?" Yu Tian Lan kept asking himself the question over and over again.
After receiving the heavenly god's message Yu Tian Lan decided to convince Li Nan Feng. He went to see her at noon the following day in Chu manor. When he reached there, Chu Jianling was hesitant about letting him but was knocked out by him because it was an urgent matter.
When Yu Tian Lan reached Chu Lanlan's quarters she was playing a sorrowful tune.
"What are you doing here?" Li Nan Feng asked in a cold voice not bothering to turn around and take a look at him.
Li Nan Feng then materialized a sword which she held firmly in her hands.
Yu Tian Lan moved closer to Li Nan Feng and touched her shoulder "Nan Feng, I need a favor." He said it and aroused Li Nan Feng's attention.
