"Run Trina, run!" Erdy begged her so she can save herself from the powerful enemies surrounding them.
"No! I can't leave you here. Please don't push me away. I'd rather die than leave you here defenseless." Trina said to him in between her sobs. They both still can't believe that they were tricked by Veronica to run this part and be away from their pack and army.
"I won't be able to handle it if something bad happens to you. Now that I know you are my real mate, I will gamble my life just to keep you safe." Erdy replied with full determination. Before Trina could answer, Erdy already sensed the strong power of the evil witch that's serving as Veronica's ultimate weapon to destroy them. And from that dark forest, Veronica and her vampire minions as well as Beta Jared's army wolves appeared from behind.
"Alpha Erdy, I think it's high time for you to give up now. Although you are the strongest alpha in the western region, there's no way you can defeat us alone," Veronica spoke showing her evil smirk.
"She's right Erdy. Your family had been leading the Royal Blood Moon pack for too long now, it's time to give other the chance to make the whole kingdom live better, stronger and with wider range." Beta Jared added. Their statements made Erdy more enraged, but he kept clearing his head. Because he knew if anything worse happened to him not only their kingdom will suffer but her newly discovered mate too.
"Keep dreaming. Things won't get your way," Alpha Erdy replied with utmost dominance that even the army from behind these two wicked creatures faltered a bit.
Hearing this, Veronica angrily motioned to the witch and said, "Leni, let's give our mighty alpha here a gift that he deserves." The witch nodded viciously. And when she raised her hand, Trina suddenly screamed in intense pain. She felt like her whole body is burning and her heart was like being pressed hard that it's almost impossible for her to breath properly. Seeing this, alpha Erdy instantly shifted and run to her but before he could go help her, five vampires and four wolves were already on the move to attack him. He can't use his full power because he's too worried for Trina whose screams were agonizingly getting louder and louder. With this, his adrenalin rush intensified, and with some quick movements he was able to crash the vampires and jumped high to strike back on the wolves that were trying to tear him down. Those are lowly werewolves, and he was able to finish them before they know it.
"Don't come here!" Trina shouted at him when he's about to get her from the witch's captivity.
"Why not. Go mighty alpha, get your mate or I will kill her in your watch," the witch said and snapped her fingers again to add more pain to Trina's body. The witch's loud laugh echoed to the whole forest and made alpha Erdy blinded in fury that made everyone astonished with his unforeseen powerful and never been witnessed before attack.
