The statement broke Myra's heart into pieces and to make things worse he turned to face the other side not wanting to face her.
She felt weak and didn't find away of answering him.
" I am sorry if you think of me like that. I will leave ! " She got up, picked her bag and left the moment Barbara was coming inside.
" Myra, You came back ? " Barbara asked.
" Since he is fully awake, I can now leave " She said sadly and left.
Barbara didn't understand what happened but she just went to Leo.
" Did you two have a fight ? " She asked and Leo turned to look at her.
" I just told her truth..but she seems to take it personal. " Leo said.
Barbara smiled. " Myra is like that. You have to get used to her.." she said.
" How do you even manage to have a friend like her ? You two are very different. " Leo inquired.
Barbara sighed and said. " I knew her since high school. She was the very beautiful and most cherished girl from a rich family. I admired her life style, because she had cool friends and boyfriends. So I befriended her. " Barbara narrated.
" In someway on another she got fond of me because I used to help her in class work and she asked me to be her best friend. " Barbara jazzed.
" She alittle complicated. But I assure you she is a good girl.." Barbara said.
" It doesn't seem so. But I think you are better than her. " He said.
This put a smile on Barbara's face and she looked at him with erotic eyes.
This calling look reminded him of the kiss and he felt his mouth dry.
He begun looking around in confusion.
" What's wrong ? " Barbara asked.
" ...I am...I just..remembered about kiss, I am sorry. " He said.
" Ooh, Its fine. " She said with a crooked smile.
" I just did it ti hide from Myra you know. So...don't take it personal. " He managed to speak in stammers.
" I know that. " Barbara said while blushing. " But it was my first kiss. So...."
" It was your first kiss ? " He asked in shock.
" Mmm..But don't mind it. " She said.
" Well then. I am sorry that it happened that way. " He said barely looking at her.
" Was it your first kiss too ? " Barbara asked that immediately Coughed on remembering that Myra stole his first kiss.
" Are you okay ? " Barbara asked with much concern and hurried to the fridge to get him a bottle of water and she opened it.
" Have this..." she said and he looked at her again.
She was too caring and this made him feel guilty for something. He took in the water.
" Thanks..." He said.
" Looks like I asked a wrong question. " She mattered.
" Better we don't talk about it. " They were like this when the nurses came in with lunch.

Myra left the Hospital immediate and went back home.
Raymond had gone for work and it was only Cissy available.
" You are back ? " Cissy asked.
" Disappointed ? " Myra asked.
" Myra, Why are you always negative towards me ? " Cissy asked.
" Because I hate you. " Myra said honestly.
" Myra, I know you hate me but I am trying my best to be a good mother. Why don't you see that ? " Cissy asked.
" If you were trying to be, You wouldn't have sent away my Mom's photos and paintings from the house. " Myra argued.
" That Whats your father wanted. He did it to forget your mother and move on. Don't you understand that ? " Cissy asked.
Myra didn't answer when Cissy said these words and she came closer.
" He was also tired of seeing you in that pain. He wants you to forget about her too. And...I think that's what your mother would wish for you too. To be happy. " Cissy said words that touched Myra's heart.
" Myra, I am sorry if I annoy you. But...if really can't love me. I will try not to bother you again. " She said and turned to walk away.
Myra tried to cool herself down and sat down. She passed her hands from her hair in confusion.

Barbara had decided to go home after Leo had his lunch and the doctors had promised to release him the following morning.

Dinner at the Walker's was silent that evening and Raymond wondered why Myra wasn't quarreling with Cissy.

Sunday W2
Barbara early birded to pick Leo from the hospital that morning. Raymond had settled all the bills already so there was no need of him paying.
" Barbara..." Leo called surprised to see her again.
" You look surprised. " She said.
" Indeed. I didn't expect you back. " He said.
" I just wanted to make sure that you were okay before going home " She said.
" Thanks " He said.
" I brought my car already. Let's go ! " She said and held his hand with a smile.
Leo smiled back and left along with her.
" So Mr Leo, Where do you live ? " She asked.
" Just Central East. " He said.
" Okay..." Barbara started the car happily.
For the first time in his life Leo felt so happy to be with a woman around him.
He liked the way took good care of him, the smile on her face , The way she conversed and most importantly the way she made him feel so special to her.
He didn't know the side of the lies she had told him about Myra, but thinking of the way Barbara was very different from Myra made him Happy.
They arrived at his apartment and he gave her directions to his room.
" Wow ! " Barbara exclaimed when she found exactly the opposite of what she had expected.
" Surprised ? " He asked with a thin smile.
" I am just wondering if you are just a bodyguard. Because this apartment looks super expensive. " She said not knowing that he was a big Officer.
" I was getting a sum salary from my previous jobs so I got enough money to buy this " He said.
" Then why did you change ? " Barbara suddenly asked.
