Nicholas looks at Charlotte and says the words she never expected to hear “Our eyes started changing color.”
All color fades away from Charlotte’s face when she hears it.
Azraiel is at her side, holding her as she struggles to stand straight.
“Is that when you tried to enter the pack through the lake? You were trying to reach her?” Theo asks as things begin to clear in his mind.
“Yeah. We felt a really weird pull towards her. It-It was like a magnet. We had to physically restrain some of us from crossing your border.” Nicholas says sounding scared to death.
“And you have no idea why it happened?” Theo asks.
Nicholas shakes his head in a no.
“I know that she is our leader. We can all sense her power and the connection. But other than that, I have no idea why everything is happening or how it is happening.”
