"Find Doctor Ye," another nurse called out.
A female doctor, in her thirties, poked her head out from behind an emergency bed curtain and asked, "What patient is this? If it's not serious, let Doctor Cai handle it first."
"They were brought in by the ambulance, and the people who delivered them said the patient's in shock," the nurse relayed Dr. Deng's words.
Doctor Ye questioned, "Who arranged for them to be sent to our hospital? Why haven't I heard anything about it?"
"The emergency center dispatched them, playing nonsense. They said the patient was critically ill and could only be taken by us. Why not take them to another hospital? Didn't they ask if we're already at full capacity here? Now the people who brought in the patient are accusing us of being irresponsible," the nurse complained on and on.
Doctor Ye became angry at this, "Saying we're irresponsible? Send them to another hospital!"
