Chapter 25 - The Dumbfounded Hades

The gods all thought of Lorne at the same time. He was the only one who was not afraid of the Titan Court and had the ability to stand against them.

"Although Lorne and the Titan Court are not on good terms, they were not this hostile to each other, right? Why would a battle suddenly break out? They seem pretty serious."

Hera raised a question.

The gods shook their heads when they heard this.

"Investigate! Someone! Go now!"

The gods remained uncertain. Zeus slapped the table and started barking orders.

Someone quickly left.

The rest could only wait in the palace.

Beside them, Hades, whose face was covered in a black robe, had a flash of light in his eyes. He said, "This might be an opportunity!"

The gods were stunned and looked at Hades in confusion.

Ever since Hades came into contact with Typhon's power and broke through to the True God Realm, he started producing an aura that made the gods very unhappy. Usually, the gods did not have much contact with him. Other than the occasional meeting, he did not have much of a presence.

"This is an opportunity to counterattack. Lorne is pressing on them. We don't know how and why it began, but we can work with him and overthrow the Titan Court together!"

Hades spoke slowly.

He truly felt that this was an opportunity. Not only could they incite a war and increase the strength of Typhon's doppelganger, but they could also use Lorne's power to overthrow the Titan Court and hasten his rise to power.

When the gods heard this, they were first stunned, then delighted. That's right! If they went up to Lorne and offered their aid, he had absolutely no reason to refuse.

"That's right! Gather the gods immediately! Let's go to the Titan Court!"

Zeus immediately made a decision. This was a rare opportunity!

Soon, the Olympian gods received the news and began to head to Mount Olympus.

Not long after, the main gods of Olympus were basically all present, but only one person was missing.

"Where's Athena? Why isn't she here?"

Zeus looked at the empty and elegant chair, frowning as he asked.

The other gods shook their heads, unsure. They all said that they had not seen her for a long time.

Only Hades remained silent, laughing coldly in his heart. Athena had been destroyed in Tartarus! Of course, she wouldn't appear.

"Didn't anyone inform her?" Zeus asked the messenger who had received the order once more.

"Lord Zeus, our messenger to Athens hasn't returned yet!"

Thus, Zeus decided to continue to wait for a period of time. Hades naturally had no qualms about it. Take your time waiting!

Soon, the messenger returned. The smug look on Hades'face instantly disappeared, to the point of shock.

"Not good! Lady Athena has been captured by the Titans!"

The messenger was a god. He was not very powerful, but he was extremely fast, comparable to that of a higher-ranked being. Thus, it was ideal for him to be a messenger.

"What?"

"What?"

The first utterance came from the gods, while the last utterance came from Hades.

"What is going on?"

Zeus was shocked.

"Not long ago, four major Titans suddenly descended upon Athens city and captured Lady Athena."

The messenger hurriedly told him everything he knew.

The gods'expressions changed. Hades'expression also kept changing, but he was extremely shocked in his heart. What exactly was going on? Shouldn't Athena have died in Tartarus?

Why would she appear in Athens? Why would the Titans capture her?

Was Typhon playing me for a fool? Damn it!

At this moment, Hades even wanted to go straight to Tartarus and confront the beast.

"Do you guys think that Athena was taken away by the Titans before Lorne went to them?"

Hera suddenly asked.

When the gods heard it, they recalled the rumors from before and their eyes lit up.

"Go, go to the Titan Court!" Zeus immediately ordered, and the gods all flew towards the Titan Court.

...

At that moment, outside the Titan Court, Lorne was fighting with the Titans. He felt a little helpless. After these Titans formed a formation, their offensive power did not increase much, but they were far harder to strike and wound. It was like fighting a turtled-up enemy.

"The great Titans hiding like scared turtles? If you have the ability, come out and fight!"

With no other choice, Lorne could only mock them, but they did not fall for it.

He could not do anything to them, but the Titans could not harm Lorne either.

When he saw them remaining silent, Lorne was a little impatient. He was considering whether to transform into his giant form, which was far more powerful.

He believed that he could definitely break this turtle shell by then, but his speed and agility would be much slower.

The Titans were not pleased with this outcome either. They had never thought that there would be a day when they would be forced to rely on this trump card against a single opponent.

"Hmph! If not for the fact that our mightiest aren't present, you would be torn to shreds already! We'll see how long you can last there!"

Hyperion grumbled.

That's right, this great array required all of the twelve main Titans to be able to unleash their full strength, but currently, there were only nine of them.

Lorne snickered and could not be bothered with the other party. It was purely a verbal battle. Just as he was getting impatient, a ripple appeared in space-time.

Cronus crawled out from within, and the battle between the two immediately separated.

"God King!"

The Titan gods were filled with joy, but Lorne smiled. "You're finally willing to come out!"

That's right, this was also because he had yet to return to the giant mode. It was precisely because Cronus had yet to appear. He was afraid that the other party would launch a sneak attack. After all, he was slower as a giant, In addition, he was unsure if Cronus had fully recovered. He was an old fox, so he had to be on guard.

Cronus nodded at the Titans, then looked at Lorne. "Lorne, why have you trespassed into My Divine Court?"

Lorne was stunned, then laughed angrily. "You're asking me?"

His words stunned Cronus. He had been in closed-door cultivation to recover his strength until he was attracted by the aura of the battle.

Oceanus was a little embarrassed. He transmitted the matter to Cronus, much to his chagrin.

Lorne was just as surprised. Cronus was not the one behind this?

"How about this! Lorne, I'll release Athena and we let this matter pass, how about that?"

Cronus did not want to have a conflict with Lorne before his strength completely recovered, so he planned to take a step back.

"God King!"

The Titans were stunned and somewhat puzzled.

The latter waved his hand to shut them up and then looked at Lorne.

"Ha! What a joke! You want me to leave just like that? How can there be such a good thing in the world!"

Lorne sneered and looked at Cronus scathingly.
