Lizzy stopped in her tracks right in front of Allynna.
She looked at Allynna suspiciously before continuing her words, "Ally! Why are you suddenly interested in talking about this?" She knew Allynna's laziness in studying Bellsor's history, including this matter.
"Did you meet someone who has superpowers?" Lizzy continued when she saw Allynna didn't utter a word.
Just as Allynaa wanted to answer, Helan appeared behind them.
"Helan?" Lizzy was startled when she noticed Helan riding his bike toward them. His bag perched on his back, and his curly hair looked even redder in the morning sun. "Why are you following us? Go ahead with your bike…."
Helan only smiles at Lizzy without answering her question. He followed Allynna, who had walked away from them. He got off his bike and walked beside Allynna.
"Ally, why are you curious about 'Chosen One'?" Helan asked. He was curious because Allynna, who was never interested in a History lesson or any royal family blood info, suddenly became interested.
Allynna glanced at Helan. She immediately remembered that Helan also had royal blood. Her curiosity about the chosen one grew: "Helan, has your innate ability already active!? If I'm not mistaken, your birthday was last month, right? So you are seventeen now..."
Helan nodded, confirming her question.
Allynna stopped walking and stood right before Helan. "So, do you have the ability now?" Her eyes widened before she asked again, "W-what is your superpower ability? Tell me?"
Helan mouth twitched hearing how straightforward Allynna was.
"I'm sorry, Ally, I can't say it to you—" Helan pauses before continuing, "I must keep it secret. Because if my enemies know what kind of ability I have, they will know my weakness and target me as their prey. So we, the royal blood, never reveal our strengths to anyone, only to our mentors or close family." he explained.
Allynnah was surprised to hear that. Now, she felt terrible for asking Helan about his ability. It turned out to be something taboo to talk about. And it is considered rude when asked by someone about their innate ability.
She regretted not studying history well because now, she felt she was probably the only person on this island who didn't understand things related to the Royal Family and the Chosen One.
Allynna continues to walk again, trying to forget about the chosen one. She will not ask anyone. She will just read the history book and find her answer there. Just as she was about to forget it, she heard Helan ask her.
"Ally, why are you suddenly interested?" Helan knew that Allynna did not have royal blood. Her father was just an ordinary person.
"Nothing, just curious." she grinned.
...
"Ally, Helan, hurry up. Class is about to start," Lizzy said while running past them, leaving Allynna and Helan.
It wasn't long before the three of them arrived in class.
They just sat in their chairs when teacher Ginger, their home run teacher, entered the classroom. She looks so energetic. With a warm smile, she greets all the students in the class.
Standing in front of the class, she looks so tall. A woman with a height of 185 cm can be considered rare. She looks eccentric and mysterious, like a witch, with her thin body, short gray hair, and cat-eye glasses.
Ms. Ginger is a friendly and cheerful teacher, but she doesn't hesitate to punish students who misbehave repeatedly.
This morning, she just greeted all the students, gave them a quiz, and then left them to study independently.
But before Ms. Ginger left the classroom, she stared at Allynna intensely. Then she said, "Allynna, as the top student in our class, I hope you can help teach your friends the quiz answers rather than just showing them your answers. That way, they will learn from you."
"Yes, Ms. Ginger." Allynna silently smiled.
After the teacher left…
Allynna immediately focused. It didn't take long to solve all the questions. Because she has a strong memory, maybe eidetic, everything she has learned would appear in her mind effortlessly. She only needs a few minutes to finish.
She saw her friends were still bowing at their desks, staring at their papers. They were focused on working on the questions. No one made a sound except the scratch of a pen on paper or the scratches of a hand on the head.
Allynna sat quietly in her place, looking out the window, staring at the sea and the blue sky. She starts to imagine having royal blood and she has superpowers. That would be super awesome.
After a while, she looked at the clock. She rose from her seat and walked to the teacher's desk. She put it on her completed quiz sheet. Some students couldn't help but sigh when they saw Allynna was done with her quiz papers. At the same time, they are still struggling to answer many difficult questions.
"Guys, if there's anything you want to ask about how to answer the quiz, don't hesitate to ask me. I'll give you the hints to the correct answer—" She said as if Ms. Ginger was watching.
After she returned to her chair, she checked her cell phone and was surprised to see a new message.
[Mysterious Man] Miss Allynna, what is your favorite color?
Allynna stared at her cell phone screen, unblinking. Why did he suddenly ask about color? Weird!
Another short message appeared when she was still confused about what to answer.
[Mysterious Man] Referring to your bedroom.
Her eyes flashed with happiness, and finally, what she was worried about was answered. Since signing the agreement with Sir Leon, she wanted to ask about their sleeping arrangements. She didn't like to share the same room with him.
Her slender fingers quickly replied to the message.
****
In the large castle in the capital.
Leon sat on the sofa, staring at his cell phone screen. He waited for Allynna's answer, but the girl did not reply to his text right away.
His fingers tapped his thigh impatiently.
After a few minutes, the short message he was waiting for finally came in.
[Princess] Earth tone color.
A faint smile graced Leon's face when he read the text—he slowly lifted his head to see his Butler, Geoffrey, a tall, skinny, wise-looking middle-aged man standing not too far from him.
"Geoffrey, renovate the room next to mine for a girl. Her favorite color is earth tones—" He paused as if he was thinking about something to say. After sometimes he finally continued, "She is my bride-to-be, so you must use the best furniture you ever know. And she will stay here in a few days..."
Geoffrey was shocked to hear that. This is the biggest news he wanted to hear.
"Yes, Your Royal Highness. I will prepare a room for our future Princess..." Geoffrey bowed, then walked backward, leaving the room.
Leon's lips curled into a faint smile when he heard Geoffrey address Allynna as a Princess.
