Aolis knew very well that his sudden visit had made his son angrier and obviously uncomfortable. As the Emperor witnessed, again and again, time did nothing to lessen the past anger his son harbored within him.

Aolis didn't feel offended by his son's attitude because he acknowledged it was his fault.
