In her first life, when she was 'Leilan' she came from a family whose wealth was above average. Though not wealthy enough to be called millionaires, they had quite a fortune.
Leilan's family, the Denver's consisted of two parents and three children with Leilan included.
However, one day, when she twelve, the most devastating news came in while she was in school.
"Your family died in a car crash" Her father's relatives picked her up from school that day, but none comforted her.
Leilan had grown up without any friends as she had something called a 'resting angry face' which tended to give people the wrong impression about her. Leilan at twelve years cried her heart out alone in a dark room as her relatives suggested how to take away her family's wealth.
"Should we put that thing in an orphanage?" Her aunt who had treated her nicely talked about her as if she was trash on the road.
"We could sell her on the black market and make some more money" Her uncle snickered evily.
Even after she graduated from high school people disliked her and thought of her as 'proud' as she didn't interact with people. From a young age, Leilan had been an introvert and after the death of her parents. she tended to not speak to people after her relatives abandoned her.
She saw 'friends' as something she didn't need after an incident were she went a bit wild then vandalized the school library with so called friends that left her.
She didn't need anyone to lean on.
"Look at the proud Leilan can't even repair her phone after her parents death"
"Ha! I heard her relatives abandoned her. She must have been annoying"
People judged her before even knowing her. Her relatives, like hungry wolves took away her parents wealth when she was young. The 'friend's who she once thought she made, abandoned her in a library.
There was no one who was there for her. Except for...
"I'm sorry for the loss of your parents. I heard the situation with your relatives. Why don't you apply for a scholarship exam? You're super smart so it's a guarantee you'll pass" His brown hair and brown eyes were so vivid in her memory.
"Thanks Felix" From her childhood to adulthood which was filled with darkness, there was only one person beside her.
The boy she had met when she was ten years old. Who had stood beside her, was the only person who didn't abandon her.
When they were in their senior year of high school, rumours started to circulate about them. Leilan and Felix were both scholarship students in the prestigious school. The stuck up wealthy students disliked the pair and made them the school's daily news.
"I bet Felix would leave Leilan the moment any of us show him some attention. What do you think Leilan?" A group of wealthy girls sat in a circle and spoke out loud right beside Leilan who was arranging some books.
"He'll abandon you like that family of yours"
Subconsciously, she clenched her fists but decided to ignore them. At this time, she wasn't in any relationship with Felix, so she made a decision.
Before she fell deeper in love with him, he would have to leave her. Each time they had an argument, she would go an extra mile and be mean to him.
So that it wouldn't hurt as much when he abandoned her. The feeling of being abandoned, was painful.
Abandoned by society.
Abandoned by family.
She didn't want to imagine the pain, of Felix abandoning her, when she was deeply in love with him.
She regretted her decision. But it was too late. Because she had already died.

"Let's play hide and seek Johan!" The little child with titian hair and green eyes laughed happily as she ran away from her younger brother who had white hair and similar green eyes.
The little child ran into an unknown destination and eventually got lost. The place the little girl was in was a grand building. The pillars and ceilings designed with gold and a simple white interior.
"Duke Landon was a big enough sacrifice" The voice belonged to a man.
"He's not going to be a sacrifice too. I know how to use Crinoel. Though he seems invincible, he's very sentimental about that mother of his. We can use him as our puppet" A deeper voice spoke back to the other one.
The little child heard bits of their conversation, but didn't mind it then walked away.

The full moon's light shone brightly through the glass window as her gaze laid quietly on the garden below her room.
She had just woken up from two different dreams. The first was off her first life, but the second... seemed to be the original Erionella's memories.
Erionella in the dream seemed to not have minded the conversation, but she paid much attention to the conversation.
It seemed that when Erionella was younger, she had heard this. For the memory to come to her like this. Was the. original Erionella still alive?
Anyways, someone seemed to have the intention of controlling Crinoel. And from how confident the speaker sounded, he must really know how to.
She looked out of her window, which was right above the garden. The garden was empty as it was night time which was when everyone retired to their chambers.
"Erionella Josephine Renowarin. The name is still hard to get used to" She turned her attention from the garden to the calendar which hanged quietly on the white wall.
Each day she spent inside the novel was recorded and it was exactly a month, three weeks and two days.
It was like this most nights; sitting on the huge white bed she would have never imagined to sleep on as Leilan while reminiscing on her past self.
They say a human will never know the value of something until it isn't there anymore.
Why was she so foolish? All Felix did was to love and care for her yet she repaid him with her hot temper.
'If I could ever go back, I would make up for my past mistakes, even if it seems impossible '
Slowly her surroundings changed and the bright lights of the neighbourhood she had lived in with Felix, came to view.
His brown hair filled her view as he walked down the crowded bridge. Gradually, the image faded as she was once again in the lonely room, only her and her thoughts.
Crmph. Crmph. Her attention was turned below to the garden bushes in which ruffling sounds came from.
A tall dark figure could be made out as she did her best to see the person.
Erionella's instincts made her quietly leave the room with the garden as her destination. She passed the halls which were all dark with a bit of fear in her.
Her magical rabbit appeared and glowed as it hopped beside her.
"Well that's new"
The rabbit illuminated the hallways as Erionella reached the garden.
She caught sight of the dark figure as it tip toed through the bushes. She followed at a safe distance and the dark figure came to the training grounds of the guards that protected the Renowarin mansion.
It was strange that no guards seemed to be in the area.
The clattering noise of the equipment made her know the person was still there, so she waited.
The person appeared to be carrying something.
The figure moved into the moonlight, revealing a young man with green eyes and white hair.
It was the first person she had seen after she entered into the novel.
Johan, Erionella's younger brother. She was older than Johan with a year, which meant he was Nineteen.
Johan Joseph Renowarin. The heir of the Renowarin household as he was the eldest male and as a daughter could not inherit anything.
He was a character that wasn't mentioned in the novel as he had nothing to do with the plot.
Though she had been living in the same house with him as his sister, she had only seen him twice; The time she came into the novel and the time engagement presents were brought in.
But she had heard a bit about him from the maids talks and general knowledge of the Renowarin family.
He was skilled with the sword, which seemed to be a trait everyone in this world possessed.
He was intelligent, polite and valued his family greatly.
Erionella watched as he swung a sword through the air. Swinging it back and front at a precise speed and stance.
He kicked and cut through the air as if fighting an invisible opponent. Each move he made was with exactitude and focus.
Unknowingly, she stepped out from the bushes and came closer watching him.
"Sister Erionella?" He stopped what he was doing and looked awkwardly at Erionella.
"Oh. You don't need to stop because of me" Erionella said waving her hands.
"No. I was about to go get a glass of water"
"Don't worry. I'll get it for you" Erionella went to get water as she felt she had interrupted his training session.
She came back and sat on the bench by the training side as she handed him the glass.
'How do siblings usually talk to each other? I play with Sophia cause she's two, but how to I speak with my nineteen year old brother…'
There was an awkward silence as they sat quietly. Johan bowed his head before he spoke up nervously "I'm sorry, sister Erionella!"
"Sorry for what?"
Tears started to stream down Johan's face which made Erionella panic as she looked for the problem.
"D-don't cry! Why are you crying?"
Johan turned his face away then went to the ground bowing beside Erionella's leg as he cried louder "W-when y-you w-wanted to jump fr-from the tower, I s-said"
Erionella looked at him with curiosity as he whispered before continuing.
"I said 'Do you not want little Sophia to grow up with her parents? She is only two and what you did today could have killed our parents' which was very mean! I'm sorry!" He wailed like a child as he clung unto her leg.
'Is he nineteen or nine divided and approximated?'
She didn't know how to respond to his actions so she just patted his head. After a few minuted his crying stopped as he purred like a cat under her hand that patted his head.
"There, there, Johan. I'm not angry at you" She smiled warmly at the figure of the grown baby.
"Really? Even though I was so cold" He asked back as he looked up at her. Tears streamed down his eyes as he had a guilty expression.
"Yes"
He stood up then embraced her into a hug. "Hic, I thought all this time you hadn't been attending family dinners and meeting with mother and father was because of me"
Though she wasn't actually the sister who had grown with him all his life, she still felt happy and thought of him as a brother.
But she wasn't going to get attached to this world.
She had been drawing a line and not trying to form any emotional connection with anyone, but being a bit closer with people would be okay, right?
******
"My lady. Yesterday the letters from the people you told me to look out for, arrived" Sophella said as she brought in two letters and set it on Erionella's reading desk.
She left Erionella who hurried to the letters, with much anticipation.
'Take a deep breath. Don't get your hope's up, they might not be interested'
The letters which were both addressed to 'Lady Erionella Renowarin', one from 'Beneditel Herlento' and 'Baroness Veloryn'.
They were the replies from Beneditel and Veloryn to the deal she proposed. She tore of the seal of the letters opening them nervously.
