A woman with black hair and blue eyes walked across the street, stomping angrily into a direction unknown to her.
"Leilan!" She turned around after hearing her name. She realized that it was time to apologise for her wrong to her boyfriend, Felix.
Pocketing her phone which buzzed due to a notification of a novel she had been reading she walked over towards Felix. It was time to apologise.
Leilan decided to solve the misunderstanding instead of being irrational. And find out who was the person that tried to come in between her and Felix so she could teach the person a little 'lesson'
She crossed the road over to were Felix was. "What's that noise?" It was late at night and hard to see so Felix looked around carefully "Leilan move!"
In the blink of an eye the front bumper of a car came to view as the head lights turned on late and Leilan's whole world dizzied as she felt herself fall and red liquid surround her.
By each second she felt herself become wet with the red liquid as she heard faint shouts "Leilan!" The red liquid was her own blood.
'I'
All the memories of her life literally flashed before her eyes, most of them with Felix as she took her through each day.
Her words were cut off short as darkness completely took her.
Her soul wandered the empty void on nothingness in despair when a small light shined above her head.
She reached out to it with her invisible hands but it floated away leading her somewhere, towards a light.
She ran quickly catching up with the light and stared at her new surrounding which was a white empty room.
Leilan's body formed back as her black hair fell back on her shoulders and light returned to her blue eyes.
"Hello!" A voice coming out from nowhere chirped as Leilan scanned the small room for a person.
The small orb of light came closer to her as she stepped backwards toward the wall.
"Where am I?' Leilan asked nervously as she waved the orb of light away.
"On your way to heaven or hell. Though I doubt heaven will accept you. So I'm sending you back to the human world." The orb of light said as it came closer to Leilan.
"Back?"
"You obviously died. Or do you think after getting hit by a car you were taken to the hospital and I'm some kind of virtual nurse?"
"So you can take me back to Felix?"
"It seems me saying 'taking you back' has made you misunderstand. When I said back I meant back to the human world. But you're not going to any Felix person. You're going to a different world."
"A different world?!"
"Gee, no need to shout. I have sensitive ears." The light orb said floating away from Leilan. "To be nice to you I'm sending you into the world I created"
"You created?"
At her words mist surrounded the light as it formed into a human being; A lady with red hair and silver eyes with a mysterious gaze and a cold aura surrounding her.
Leilan recognized this lady very well' The mysterious Harlyn, a bestselling author of so many books and Leilan's favorite novel, 'Life is a Fairy Tale'
She had always wanted to meet the woman, but not like this.
"You can be able to return back to your Felix if you find the wishing stone at Ulenov. And you also have to defeat the 'Lord of nightmares' or else your new world will be destroyed and you along with it. "
'Ulenov?'
The strange word rang a bell but at the moment she couldn't put her finger on it.
"Let me sum up all the important parts: A year from now. On the day of the Latil, if the 'Lord of Nightmares' is not defeated then, your new world will be destroyed. And if you die before that time, your soul will be shattered into a million pieces through different times and dimensions. And you can only go back on the day of Latil."
"W-what?" Leilan asked trying to process everything.
"Good luck, Leilan. Or should I call you Erionella"
"Wh-
Her world once again dizzied as she felt her hold on her consciousness slip away from her. The last image she could grasp was the twisted smile from the woman in front of her.
"My lady don't! You can't make it to the bridge! You'll send yourself to death!" A young lady from below screamed as tears fell from her eyes.
Leilan slowly examined her surroundings and wake up from the driving sleep and was alarmed as she wobbled on the fence of the tower which she stood on with one foot abut to leap.
Even a Ferris wheel was never built this high. If someone was to fall from there it would be an easy way to death.
Leilan wobbled down to the platform of the tower and sat down on the cold floor thinking wildly.
She noticed her hair was not black anymore but now titian. She thought of the different possibilities of the situation she was in but she was sure she had died.
Where was she now? Heaven? She wasn't exactly sure she was nice enough to make it there...
"Lady! Lady Erionella!" A group of people dressing like medieval knights came rushing in as they crowded around Leilan and a young man walked forward and dragged Leilan's hand making her stand up and walk.
His white hair and green eyes were familiar yet so hard to recall.
The moment the young man dragged her out of the tower, two figures rushed in and hugged her as she was dropped on the ground.
"Oh Nella, the way you worried my poor heart!" A woman with shiny white hair and blue eyes exclaimed as she held Leilan's cheek.
"Dear, never worry your parents like that. If your brother hadn't been there I don't know if I would have survived a heart attack" The man with titian hair and green eyes said as tears welled up in his eyes.
'Parents?'
"Prepare the carriage" The young man who carried Leilan said briefly as he turned away.
Leilan was bewildered about her current situation and couldn't understand a single thing at all.
