"She'll have to stay here for a while until her memory recovers," James said as he walked out of Troy's room where the girl was.
Troy stared at him in protest.
"Helping people is your hobby," continued James.
"But, the situation is different. Why don't you just take her to your house?" demanded Troy.
"I could be dangerous to that girl, Troy. You know my past," James replied.
Troy shook his head disapprovingly. "But still. That girl staying here is definitely not a good idea."
"Why? Because you changed her clothes your own three days ago?" shoot James.
Troy glared at that and stared at the door warily. "Don't say things like that to her."
James smiled amusedly. "Are you attracted to her by looking at her body?"
"I'm not a pervert," Troy hissed annoyed. "And it would be uncomfortable for both of us."
"Right, she doesn't know, so you're the only one feeling uncomfortable. Get used to it," James replied casually.
"Are you planning to kill me?" growled Troy.
"Troy, I am not only the doctor, but also your boss at the restaurant. You want to be fired?" James smiled menacingly.
Troy hissed in annoyance.
"But, have you got any information about that girl?" James asked.
Troy shook his head. "Jun and Ricki are still figuring out the accident around here."
James nodded.
"You seem so curious about that girl," Troy sneered.
James smiled sadly. "I just feel sorry for her." James turned to the bedroom door. "The shards of broken glass on her hand… obviously not from the accident."
Troy frowned. "You mean, the girl could be in danger?"
James nodded. "You have to be careful and alert."
Troy frowned. "Why are you so sure that the girl is in danger?"
"I'm just mentioning the possibilities," said James.
Troy studied James' expression intently, then nodded. "Yeah, I'll be careful."
James nodded in relief. "Then I'll go first. Feed her and make sure she takes her medicine," James ordered. He looked at the door once more, before saying goodbye.
After James left, Troy returned to the room. He saw the girl staring blankly at the bedroom window.
"Um… so, how should I address you?" asked Troy as he approached the girl.
The girl looked at Troy. "Rose."
Troy frowned. "You … have you remembered your name?"
The girl shook her head. "Suddenly that name popped into my head."
Troy nodded. "Okay. Rose."
The girl smiled.
Troy looked away. "What do you want to eat?"
"You're asking me?" the girl asked.
Troy cleared his throat and looked at the girl. "Yes. What do you want to eat?"
"Anything."
"If there's a food you don't like, or you're allergic to ..."
"I … don't remember anything," said the girl.
"Ah …" That's right. "Then, I'll make some porridge for you."
The girl smiled again and nodded. "Thank you."
Troy just nodded and was about to leave, but the girl suddenly moved to the edge of the bed. As the girl was about to get off, Troy rushed over and grabbed her by the shoulders.
"What are you doing?" demanded Troy.
"To the bathroom. I'm going to the bathroom," the girl replied.
"Don't move carelessly. You've been lying down for three days, you shouldn't use your body carelessly," Troy scolded. "Can you even stand up?"
The girl then tried to stand up. At that moment, her body swayed. Luckily Troy caught it on reflex.
"Sorry I had to trouble you, but … could you walk me to the bathroom?" the girl asked.
Troy nodded, then without a word, he lifted the girl's body in his arms.
"Y-you … there's no need to carry me like this. Just holding my hand seems enough," said the girl.
"This is more practical and faster. You haven't fully recovered yet, what if you fall and hurt your head again?" Troy replied, then led the girl to the bathroom outside the room. Troy only dropped the girl off once they were in the bathroom.
"Is there anything else I can help you with?" asked Troy.
The girl shook her head.
Troy nodded. "Okay. I will wait for you here."
The girl blinked in surprise. "W-what? Waiting for me here? In here?"
"I've even seen you …" Troy stopped his sentence when he came to his senses.
"See me what?" asked the girl with a furrowed brow.
Troy shook his head quickly. "I'll be waiting at the door. When you're done, you just wait here, let me pick you up here."
Then, Troy rushed out of the bathroom despite hitting the door. Troy closed the bathroom door and stood at the door. A few minutes later, he heard the girl's voice,
"I am done."
Troy opened the door carefully, he saw the girl standing and holding on to the sink. Troy rushed over and grabbed his arm.
"Are you okay?" asked Troy.
The girl nodded. "Just a little dizzy."
Troy didn't say anything else and wrapped his arms around her neck then lifted her before he carried her back to the bedroom. He heard the girl mumble a thank you as they came out of the bathroom.
After making sure the girl was lying safely on the bed, then Troy went to the kitchen to make some porridge. While preparing the ingredients for cooking, Troy gets a call from Ricki.
"Did you get the information I asked for?" asked Troy.
"I guess … you should see for yourself. I will send the news article to you," said Ricki.
"Okay." Troy hung up and opened the link to the news Ricki had just sent.
HY Group Owner Accident, the Princess Disappear.
Troy read the location of the incident which was indeed on the road to the summit not far from here. They called it a single accident, but when Troy looked at the picture of the wrecked sedan, he could see the impact marks on the side of the bumper. The car collided with another car before hitting a cliff.
However, if they cover up a fact that seems so obvious, it means they are protecting the culprit. Or rather, the media has been bought by the culprit. And this news … was more like a warning to the missing Princess.
Troy stared at the only bedroom in the house and was stunned. Remember what James said earlier. That girl … might really be in danger.
Troy went back to reading the news on his phone screen. Caroline Isabel Hariandy. The name of the missing Princess. However, the girl is not missing, but is in Troy's house. Of course, the girl might be in trouble if anyone found out about her existence here.
Troy sighed. Now, what will he do?
Should he contact the girl's family? However, the girl's father also had an accident and is in a coma at the moment. Troy didn't know if it was someone from the family or an outsider. However, seeing how this case is covered up like this, it is possible that the perpetrators are his family. Even if it wasn't them, the girl couldn't be sure she was safe in the midst of her family.
Because, if her family really cared about the girl's safety, they would have reported the accident and asked for an investigation. This is not a single accident. In fact, it could even be an attempted assassination.
