Konto slips into a light slumber, Subject Zero lightly lays her on the ground on the ground. "Why didn't you tell her, Subject Zero?' Subject Five asks Subject zero glares at Subject Five.
"I can't bear to see her under any more pressure. Get her somewhere comfortable and then mobilize the Spirit Knights and assign The Reapers to protect Konto. I'll deal with it myself." Subject Zero commands.
"Yes." Subject Five acknowledges the order, saluting as Subject Zero walks past him. "Are you sure about this, Subject Zero?" Subject Five asks, "Yes, I am, Subject Five." Subject Zero responds.
Subject Five sighs in relief once Subject Zero leaves the room, picking up Konto and taking her into the next room. Subject Five lays Konto in a bedroll, looking at her worriedly.
"Please don't take Subject Zero's actions too harshly, your majesty." Subject Five mutters, standing up and walking away.

[Sometime later...]
----
Konto slowly wakes up, rubbing her eyes and sitting up. Yawning she looks around, slowly standing up, looking around the room, she sees some people playing poker at the far top right corner of the room.
"Subject Sixty, Subject Forty-Five, Subject Sixty-Two, What are you doing here?" Konto asks, standing up, A subject lays his cards down disappointedly before looking at Konto, "Fuck it, I fold." They mutter.
The Subject that folded looks at Konto, "Your majesty, Subject Five ordered us to protect you." the Subject says. Immediately noticing something was wrong, Konto jumps up, "Where is Subject Zero?" Konto asks, "He left with The Reapers a while back, why?" the subject responds.
"Did he tell you where he was going?" Konto asks worriedly, "Somewhere up north I think... Is something wrong, your majesty?" The Subject asks with a glint of concern in their eye.
Konto rushes to the door, yanking the door open. "Wait, your majesty!" The Subjects yell in sync as Konto runs down the hall.
Konto runs into the room in which the survivors had been holding up, only to find it empty. "Where the hell is the civilians?!" Konto looks back at the Subjects, "They aren't here? Maybe they were moved to a different room." The Subject says.
Konto runs off again, and the Subjects chase after her again. Konto runs into another room, there is nothing there, then the next, nothing there. Next room, Empty. Next, Empty.
Konto falls to her knees near a pool of blood, with no corpse in sight. "That's impossible... How could I have not woken up?! How did you not know that they were gone, Subject Sixty?!" Konto looks back and yells at Subject Sixty. "We haven't heard nor seen anything, it's not like they could've just disappeared without making a single noise." Subject Sixty responds.
"No, it is. But they would've had to purposefully leave us." Konto mutters, nearly breaking out into tears. "I've failed my duty. The duty I swore to fulfill the second I became the emperor of Alenin." Konto says dolefully.
"Your majesty... Those bastards must've taken them! But what happened to Subject Zero? Where did he go?" Subject Sixty asks, another subject steps up to say: "He might've had information about the attack in advance and tried to prevent it, that might be why he left."
"No, that's not possible, Subject Zero would've told me," Konto says as a tear breaks out. "We'll kill those fucking bastards, I swear on my soul. I won't die until I wipe those bastards from existence!" Konto exclaims, slamming her hand in the pool of blood and laying her forehead on the ground, crying.
A subject kneels beside the pool of blood, sticking his finger in and licking it. "It's obviously fresh, couldn't have happened long ago, that means they couldn't have gone far. It's also not one of our civilians' blood." The subject says.
Regaining hope, Konto stands up, "Let's go." Konto orders. "I'll get my people back, even if it means conforming to the views those bastards have on me." Konto says, wiping the blood off her forehead and walking towards the exit.
