So... I've been in the war for a week. I did a lot of very important things, some of the thing I did took lives, but I'm fine with that to be honest. If anything, I pitty the innocents among the people of the Gaza Strip.
I still can't get Hamas' thinking. Do they really think they can win this war? Fron what I heard, we took down more targets in a week then what the US did in Afghanistan over a year while they where there (6000~ from an article I saw). And our ground forces didn't even go in.
It's so obvious that this is the result of Iran wanting to ruin our relationship with Saudi Arabia, but the Palestinians would have gotten so much more out of the conditions the Saudi government put forth so I don't get why they attacked.
Now the innocent Palestinian citizens are caught in the middle since the terror organizations made their homes into bases and dragged them into this. It's sad, really. I wouldn't be surprised if we will flatten Gaza, it seems like a possible outcome now. But onto another subject.
I never expected such a tragedy to bring such unity. We get so much food and supplies donated to our base, and the Israeli people are more united then ever. Hamas turned themselves into the common enemy of every person across the nation, and it made us get so much stronger.
Well, that's all from me. I'd like to hear your thoughts on this, what do you think about this war?
