How are you all doing? Lately, I've been able to write more chapters so I'm thinking I'll try to upload more frequently. Twice a week, maybe more if I can continue to write chapters at the speed that I managed to in the last couple of weeks.
If you want to help my motivation, please leave comments or a good review, it helps a lot! Enjoy the chapter!

"*Sigh*, I hoped she'd come back," Thor said as he got up from his chair. "Alright, a promise is a promise. Where do I begin?" Thor asked. While Ryu could tell that he was scared and uncertain, Thor's eyes shone with strong determination.
"Oh, I'm not the one who'll teach you. You've got a general that was responsible for thousands of men by your side, I'd say he's fitter to teach you about ruling than I am. He's stricter too, so you'll finish learning in no time," Ryu smirked Kratos entered the room Thor and Ryu were in.
"Fine by me," Thor said as Ryu left the two gods alone.
"Hey, you! Stop!" Ryu looked over his shoulder to see a teenage girl running up to him. From Thor's memories, he recognized her as Thrud, Thor's daughter. "What's up?" Ryu asked as he turned around to face the young goddess.
"I... I wanted to thank you. Dad, he changed all of the sudden. He suddenly became more... Open? I guess? He talked with Mom about problems they've been having, and she seems more happy now. He hugged me, he spent time with me, and when Heimdall started to badmouth me Dad beat the ever-living shit out of him. It was awesome!
When I asked him why he changed suddenly, he spoke about you. I don't know what you did... But Thank you," Thrud said awkwardly.
"It was my pleasure," Ryu answered with a warm smile. Seeing Thrud fidget with her fingers instead of continuing on her way, Ryu waited for her to say what was still on her mind. "I feel a little bad asking after what you did to my Dad, but he said that you were super powerful. Can you help me train?" Thrud asked after a couple of seconds.
"Sure, but let me warn you that the training will be extremely harsh. I'm not trying to dissuade you or anything, I'm just letting you know," Ryu said. "Tough training means great results! Count me it!" Thrud said happily. "Alright, meet your trainers," Ryu said as he snapped his fingers, conjuring several of his Shinobi amalgamations. Ryu wasn't going to teach Thrud himself. No, he had more important things to do.
"Wow!" Thrud said in wonder as she saw six men clad in black robes and wearing different white animal masks. "They will teach you everything from hand-to-hand combat to stealth to weaponry to strategy, they are experts in those fields," Ryu said.
Normally, he wouldn't have gone to such lengths just to train some girl, but after inspecting Thrud Ryu was baffled by her potential. The information he got on her told him that she basically had no limit. Thor was considered one of the most powerful warriors in this universe, and his daughter and the ability to surpass him by leaps and bounds.
But Ryu wasted enough time, it was time for him to resume his divinity project. His last experiment turned into an abomination, but Ryu wasn't discouraged.
'Well, they probably don't need me around here anymore. I'll go focus on my research,' Ryu thought as he teleported himself to a house given to him in Asgard and shut himself in.
--- 1 year later ---
After getting a quick crash course from Kratos on governing, Thor began to rule Asgard. Without Odin dedicating all of the realm's resources to his own selfish needs, Thor managed to upgrade the quality of life immensely. No longer did the gods live in wooden huts, but in gorgeous mansions that befitted their status.
Thor and Sif's relationship mended almost completely over the past year, though they still couldn't let go of the past when it came to certain events.
Thrud spent the year training intensively with Ryu's Shinobi. And while she was still very far from their level of technique, what they taught her combined with her monstrous strength transformed her into the most promising warrior on Asgard.
Atreus and Kratos ventured out to find what became of the giants after the former managed to convince his father with Ryu's help. Due to reading Kratos' mind, saying the right words to convince him wasn't all that difficult for Ryu.
Speaking of Ryu, he spent all of his time studying divinity and the craftsmanship he learned from Brok and Sindri.
After the third month, Ryu completely grasped the concept of divinity and he could create Shinobi with every kind of divinity, though there were some side effects. After the fourth month, he completely understood the unique forging of the dwarfs, allowing him to harvest various seemingly-impossible materials, and after another month full of work Ryu created various magical weapons made from his unique technique that combined what he knew and what he learned from the dwarfs.
In the sixth month, Ryu deepened his understanding of reality. Ryu could transform it to some degree now, and it was ridiculously powerful without a shadow of a doubt, but Ryu didn't know what would be waiting for him in the other universes he'd visit. He preferred to be prepared.
In the seventh month, Ryu made a terrifying discovery while trying to harvest impossible ingredients. He didn't know what it was, but just trying to forge a ring with a droplet of the stuff resulted in an effect so powerful that Ryu accidentally froze Muspelheim over when he experimented in the realm. Needless to say, Ryu didn't touch that thing anymore. Something that just a sprinkle of it could freeze over the realm of primordial fire wasn't something he was ready for.
The rest of the year Ryu went around Muspelheim using his reality manipulation to turn the realm back to normal. Transforming an entire planet wasn't something he could do easily, but it helped him a lot with his reality manipulation.
Originally Ryu thought he wasn't ready yet, but after warping an entire realm he changed his mind. His original goal with divinity was to become a god, and now that he understood it, it was time he became one.
