"Welcome home, master David, elder, young master."
Ashley the head maid of the Lionheart household bowed to all three of them.
She has white hair, sharp features, and a pair of azure eyes which seem to see more than a normal eye can see. She is an able maid. She always prepares everything before they were even asked, she treats Reiji as her own son for some unknown reason. She is also the best weaver in the entire village. There are rumors about her being so fast at weaving that she can create a piece of cloth in a matter of seconds.
"Am I to assume that elder matilda will have her dinner in our place, Master David?" Ashley said with a stoic face.
"Right you are" David shakes his head helplessly.
"I have already prepared a warm bath for master David and young master. Elder matilda, please enjoy this herbal tea which nourishes ones beauty while I prepare another bath for you." Ashley stated with a stoic expression as she served a cup of herbal tea to Matilda which came out of nowhere.
"You are so reliable that it scares me sometimes. How about this you work for me and I will give you double the amount David pays you." Matilda said with an amused expression.
"Elder Matilda although your offer is quite tempting I have to humbly refuse it. I can't go to your house if the young master is here after all I must clean his underwear." Ashley added with a neutral tone.
"Aunt Ashley!" Reiji shouted with reddened cheek.
Hahahahaha...
Everybody burst into laugher even Ashley had a small smile on her face.
Hearing the sound of laugher in the living room Arizona arrive
"Huh, You are back Rei."
Arizona who was walking towards his office with a handful of documents mumbled."Good, If you need any help on business feel free to ask." He added as if its the most natural thing to say to a 3-year-old and then left the room.
"That little worrywart, he is still worried about you after sending me with you"
Matilda sighed and shakes her head helplessly.

After washing up Reiji was reporting to his gramps and his uncle about his trades and profits. David was the most easygoing person Reiji has ever seen in his lifetimes. He is a warm person by nature. He is dumb, a little straightforward. But he is a good and responsible person.
"Rei, elder, father, dear dinner is prepared," Isabel's distant voice resounded in the entire house as if she was whispering those words in your ears. This particular ability always creeps Reiji. "Come here quick everyone or the food will get cold~"

"Rei have some more, would you? Although I haven't studied human anatomy at all. I can tell that your abnormal growth has a lot to do with my amazing cooking. Hehe," Isabel said while dumping a huge chink of grilled meat on Reiji's plate.
Isabel is a warm-hearted woman who takes great joy and pride in her cooking.
She can also turn into a cold-hearted demon if someone bad mouth her cooking. But that's rare because her cooking is simply amazing.
"Now don't eat too much or you'll end up with a tummy ache." Arizona naturally commented munching on a deep-fried black swan wing.
Arizona or Arz, in short, is a big eater, he is a good person but he doesn't let it on so much. At first glance, he might look like a cold-hearted dictator but he is a good person on the inside. What reiji likes about him the most is how he always prioritizes his villagers even before his country. This might sound like disloyalty to the country. But thats just how he is.
"Hmmm....
It's so good~ How do you even make these delicacies Isabel." Matilda commented savoring the flavors of the stake she is eating.
Matilda is the elder of the village. Although she looked like someone in her 20s she is around 300 years old and an extremely strong being. She hates when someone calls her grandma according to her hurting is a woman's feeling is punishable by death and she gets hurt whenever someone calls her grandma Reiji is an exception to this but he still gets his share of punishment just less brutal.
She has a happy-go-lucky personality and never takes things seriously. She is also one of the most beautiful women Reiji has ever seen except of the gods of course.
After the dinner session, Reiji was called out by Matilda. Reiji simply follows, sensing the tension between them Arz was about to follow them when David stops him and said.
"It's something they had to deal with on their own" David started walking toward his room with a solemn tone.
David himself was curious but he chose to trust them.
Arizona was confused but decided to obey his father's command.

In the back of the lionheart mansion.
Matilda is walking toward a tree and sits beside it she leaned on the tree and break the silence which hasn't been broken throughout their night walk.
"What are you waiting for little Rei? come here and sit"
She said while patting the ground next to her then she started looking at the night sky which was full of stars.
Reiji silently followed her words and sit next to her putting his arms backward to make some support.
They kept looking at the sky without telling a word.
Each minute was feeling like forever to Reiji as he was growing more and more nervous by the second.
After a good few minutes later Matilda break the silence.
" First of all, Little Reiji calm down and listen, everybody has their secrets so I am not going to be asking yours. Secondly, always remember If you need help you can count on me.
Lastly, even if it feels like the entire world is against you and it feels hopeless. I am always here, right here. So do everybody else. This is why families are here."
Matilda spoke with a sincere smile.
Reiji felt something at this moment, these are some really simple words, but for some reason, these words hit him harder than anything he ever felt. Then he adverts his gaze toward Matilda and was about to say something when he freezes up.
Reiji was mesmerized by how dazzling Matilda was looking right now. Her greens hair was flowing with the wind the light of the moon that illuminating her face, it's so unreal that at that moment he thought
'She is so beautiful. More so than that of a God.'
Reiji all hesitation was gone by now and he had a clear head now.
"Matilda I promise I will never do what I did again!" Reiji uttered confidently with one thought in his head
'That's right. I am not in a hurry to become strong. I will become strong eventually.'
Her expression took a 180 just after hearing those words.
"Cheeky boy. You have got some balls calling me by my name" She started smothering him in her bosom with a slightly pink cheek.
"I am sorry grandma!" Reiji muffled.
"Now you have done it"

Matilda punched him in the head causing a bump to appear.
"That hurts..."
Reiji was about to complain when he looked at Matilda's serious expression which he had never seen. He was confused and decided to look in the direction of where she was looking, the sky. When he looked at the sky his eyes widened.

As if waiting in cue the village danger bell started ringing. Reiji blinked his eyes and looked at the sky again to make sure he wasn't hallucinating. But the scenery never changed.
In the starry sky suddenly a black hole appeared. No, it wasn't a black hole it was hundreds of thousands of red-eyed, black-skinned flying demons with a pair of horns coming out of their forehead coming towards the village.
