The automatic doors leading to Dean's office opened as a student ran towards the man sipping his coffee, immediately locking his eyes with him as he stopped on his tracks when he reached its table.
The Dean's brows furrowed as he looked at the student with curiosity, "Lad, I presume that you do know how to knock."
The student didn't pay any attention as he tried catching his breath due to running. The Dean sighed, placing his coffee mug on his table and leaning on his table as he faced the student and waited for him to calm down.
The student opened his palm infront of the Dean. White smoke came out of his hands, revealing a scroll with the Mythic stamp. The Dean's eyes widen, snapping his fingers to open the scroll.
The scroll glowed, revealing the message of the Mythic Council.
Dean Marcus Ishika of Gobernante Sabio,
The Kingdom of Ayana, the home for 22 million people revolving around humans and supernaturals we're kept at peace, order and freedom over the past hundred years without fail by the Mythic Council not until this day.
Sadly, the assassination of the royals of Ayana, King Leo and his family, in their humble abode yesterday night have waged a war between two clusters, the Druids and the Exorcists claiming for the throne.
The Necromancers and Brujias' of the East joined the war, immediately ceasing the Druids existence once and for all. It was a certain lost for the kingdom's race and also for the families and friends of those that cease to exist but the kingdom is in a state of emergency.
Receiving this letter meant that everyone in the Mythic council have lost their lives fighting to get the throne back to it's rightful descendant, the race of alchemists who in history have only ruled for hundred years.
Dean Ishika of Magis, Dean Mikaro of Alchis, Dean Kearney of Enhants and Dean Cashino of Divines, in behalf of the Kingdom, you are hereby appointed as the new equites of the Mythic Council. You shall gather your strongest mages, alchemists, enhanters and physics to save the kingdom.
The future of Ayana for the following generation depends on your hands.
Marcus couldn't help but force himself to stand, immediately waving his hand, transporting himself to Ayapotamia, the meeting place of those that oversee its kind.
Marcus couldn't believe what he had read. The King, the Druids and the Mythic council who plays an important key in keeping the Kingdom from chaos and falling apart we're all gone.
Clusters we're made to gather supernaturals of the same power and disconnect indifference. The Exorcists, the Brujias' and the Necromancers of this Kingdom we're the top three most powerful holders of supernaturals.
The unseen, curses and potions, and the undead we're not something the students of their race could win over.
All races, have their powers cease at the age 45 where they turn normal after gaining it at their teenage years, became a more difficult factor to win.
It meant that they could only rely on the kids in training.
'What was the Mythic Council thinking? The kids I govern over we're not trained for war, they we're trained to help themselves control what they have gain.' Marcus thought as he stood at left side of the circle where his name shone, an indication that he was recognized by the sacred place.
His mind was in turmoil. He couldn't think straight. Everything seemed too fast to his liking.
"You seemed too bothered, Marcus. Don't look too troubled, it will cause panic in your race once the words escape."
Marcus could only stare at the woman who appeared by the doors, she was walking elegantly, like the Enchantress she is.
The woman stood on her side of the place, beside Marcus who kept his eyes on the woman.
"Why should I not, Blair? The kids had never in their lifetime met the different races to avoid conflicts and now the Mythic Council wants us to gather the best of our students like they're some soldiers to send for war."
The woman could only spare a glance at Marcus' eyes that screamed frustration. She could definitely understand the man, if she was also in place, she'd argue...but there was nothing they could do.
Being a dean of the school that gathered the kids of races comes with an equal price of conformity.
They are under the spell of misjudgement. One wrong movement against the orders could lead to power extraction.
It was something they cannot afford to lose. At the age of thirteen where powers starts to grow, the powers they attain will serve as a lifeline until it leaves your body by the age 35-38 depending on how strong your power developed.
Losing your powers against your timeline means losing your life.
"Well, sitting on our offices, monitoring the students, would still bring the our kingdom to its knees. The Kingdom of Schild and Braucht would never lead a hand for this."
Marcus couldn't help himself but roll his eyes at the man who entered the room, shouting in joy as he rode his self made car and carelessly driving his invention around the hall. He bumped into a few important statues that he didn't seem to mind destroying, afterall, he could rewind an object's timeline.
"Mikaro, return to your post." The last of the Deans' finally arrived with a portal open, coming from his office. He placed himself on his post and waited for the Alchemist who seemed to enjoy the misery of everyone waiting for him to come out. The man immediately jumped out of his car and made a sign with his hands, "Rock and roll, bitches!"
The Dean of Magis and Enhants could only sigh in frustration as he danced his way to his post.
As soon as his name on the post lit up, a globe of shield surrounded the entire table including the posts of the four for unbothered communication.
"Who are we sending?" Marcus squinted his eyes in frustration. That exact words we're the ones he wanted to avoid but it seems that Dean Cashino wouldn't waste his time in delaying the purpose of this meeting.
"Rave, don't be too insensitive. We have to do the vows first," Dean Blair Kearney announced having Marcus open his eyes and focus on the Enchant.
"Dean Alden Mikaro of Gobernante Aventurero, home of Achemists," Mikaro announced in boredom as if he wanted out in this meeting the soonest possible time.
"Dean Rave Cashino of Gobernante Estricto, home of Physics and Divines," Rave followed as his eyes wandered on Marcus' post. His eyebrows raised in confusion as he wandered why Marcus only focused on the woman of the group.
"Dean Blair Ayu Kearney of Gobernante Amable, home of Enchanters and Enchantresses," Blair mentioned in her sweetest voice. She looked at everyone in the room and offered them her sweetest smile before landing her gaze at Marcus who seemed to engrossed in her presence.
She pointed towards her direction, green thorns immediately came out of her point finger, snapping Marcus in his daze eventually dodging the thorns with his teleportation magic.
He sighed in relief as he stepped back on his post again, one thorn could paralyze half of his body. He wouldn't want that, he gazed at everyone before chanting his vow.
"Dean Marcus Ishika of Gobernante Sabio, home of Wizards," everyone bowed towards the crystal gem of truth as a sign of conformity. The ball glowed in blue light indicating everyone that everything in the room shall be recorded and currently in broadcast for the people they govern on.
"The Mythic council, royalties and Druids who govern us for peace and equity had fallen." Rave spoke as his eyes only focused on the crystal not even bothering to look at his mates on the room.
"Brujias', Exorcists, and Necromancers, are now in control of the palace which meant that we are under their rules of judgement." Alden followed, interest leaving his eyes as if he wanted the meeting to finish in an instant.
'This is fucked up, I don't really want to involve the kids in this because it's too dangerous but what can we do? We can't leave them governing us.' Alden thought as he crossed his arms on his chest while he waited for the other two to finish the sentence.
"We stand in front the Crystal Gem of Truth to inform everyone that we are now equites of the Mythic council and we are to deliver the message that-"
"The chosen kids- your child will be at war." Blair could only look at Marcus with pity even if he interrupted her words in disrespect.
Marcus lost his kid in a mission given by the council two years ago, and of all people, Marcus knew how dreadful it is to lose a child. He knew what parent's could feel when they're children are sent for war.
"If we could stand against them by ourselves, we won't involve the children...But you all know that our powers weaken by age and anyone beyond 28 couldn't stand a chance with the three powerful clusters who can use their powers till 60." Rave added.
"Before the chosen are sent at war, they'll be trained in Amagi's coliseum, four of the races combined." Everyone's eyes widened at Blair's words.
This has never crossed their mind, let alone even share a space with a different race.
"Blair-"
"Teams are stronger when bonds are shared, this will help them gain the support of one another. I know we are in clusters for a reason but this act shall be used to bring us closer together." For a minute no one could speak their thoughts, they only could stare at Blair who was sitting on the table in an elegant manner as her body was positioned at the direction of the gem.
"For now, Beta and Delta alchemists will develop weapons to be spread out of the four clusters," Alden mentioned as a smile finally crept on his lips.
"Marquess and Earl Divines will oversee the activities of the four, providing the informations of attacks and will develop tactics of our upcoming fight for freedom. Sky Viscounts are required to be at different clusters, healers are needed." Rave followed.
"Admiral and Vice Admiral Wizards will disperse around the four clusters for protection in case of surprise attacks." Blair could only smile at the three noble men who's trying to keep cool despite the chaos this things shall bring.
For sure, chaos could erupt in this kind of command but who knows, friendship could also arise as we fight for one thing.
Freedom from chaos.
This is the first time the kingdom's clusters are bound to be one. She do hate men, specially this three in the room but they lead well. It was safe until now because they govern well and kept out of each other's businesses.
Change is not inevitable but having this easily told by these honorable people seemed too easy. People of respective clusters will do find this change too fast but they can't stall time.
Not when the three most powerful clusters of the continent, El Orden Público was against them.
"Broadband Tribune and Camp Prefect Enchants will scatter in four clusters to create the intruder barriers and protection ruins." she spoke the final words in satisfaction.
"The chosen will be informed after we speak with the first in command of respective clusters, six in one cluster shall join the special training while other will only stand as protection for respective clusters. Sorry, but we can't lose more," a gasp immediately came out of Blair's mouth as he looked at the man in surprise.
That f-cking Marcus just told everyone that we will only get six students in thousand students of different clusters! How the f-cking hell are they going to beat a whole bunch of the powerful three!
The gem dimmed before they could speak in protests. A scowl of warning came out of Marcus mouth as soon as the three Deans' focused their power on him.
Three of them, hands glowing, pointed at Marcus who didn't seem bothered of being hit...because they can't. The fucking Dean knows how to transport!
"You piece of stupid paper! We need hundreds not six!" Rave demanded in anger.
"You just told everybody that we only need six Marcus, use your brain! We're literally sending the kids to death-that's beyond your principle of protecting them!" Blair stepped down of the table as she frustratedly stomped her feet, concentrated power now focused on the tip of her finger more.
"We can't send more to die. We haven't been disturbed as of today because they think we wouldn't know. Preparing everyone for war will alert them...it will alert them of our rebel, we just can't risk more." Marcus spoke, his voice echoed in the room after he uttered those words.
Everyone was trying to seep his words in until Alden withdraw his concentrated power and clapped, amusement visible on his face as the three watched him in confusion.
"What a good idea, Marcus. The kids will now have the will to be the chosen one. In a week's time, the kids will try hyping up the PUG to be the chosen for the quest. They'll think of this quest as a rank, a kid wants dominance. They'll eventually try their best to be part of this 'saving the kingdom' mission." Alden says as he walked away from his post and hopped on his self driving car with windows open, looking at the three with a smile of victory on his face.
"I'll see you guys on the coliseum, a week from now." The three could only watch as the guy maneuvered his way out of the room before anyone could mutter their thoughts.
"That idiot. Why did he became the Dean again?!" Blair angrily announced as she stomped her feet on the floor again like a kid who lost her favorite toy.
Rave took out a lollipop from his pocket and moved his other hand away from Marcus' direction, placing it on his pockets.
"PUG determined our ranks in clusters right? He's powerful even though he seems stupid," Rave who had finally calm down ate his lollipop as he walked away from his post and entered the portal he had made going back to his office.
Blair could only sigh in defeat now that the two men seems to agree. She glared at Marcus who was now focused on her. Her hands twitched in awkwardness as she was feeling too bothered with the way Marcus looked at her.
"I'll see you in a week," Marcus raised his hand as a sign of goodbye before he teleported his way out of the room, leaving the woman behind who sighed again now feeling relieved with everyone's absence.
A wicked smile crept on her lips.
In a week huh?
I hope they do find someone with a reliable power and strength now that she already have one student in her mind.
Naia Arythia Ezili. The woman who could command the waters.
Her hidden gem.
She'll be a pain in the ass to pursue alright but with her powers, she could definitely kill half of the power three.
Kingdom of Ayana's treasure is it's surrounding waters...luck might've help them be known as the race exceeding the powerful three.
Now, all she had to do was convince the woman to participate.
