Chapter 5 - The Dispersion

"Who?" they all said throwing questioning looks at one another.

Stella sighed and said, "Terrell?"

"Is that a question or what?" asked Gertrude.

Jackie suddenly stood up and bellowed, "Oh my fucking LORD! Terrell is a fucking stupid, ugly ass, guy that fucks up everything and is a complete fucking asshole that deserves to burn and rot in hell!"

A bunch of other people in the cafe stared at Jackie and a few people laughed.

Delia and Natalie shushed her, Kaitlin said "Calm the fuck down, Jackie."

"That's what you said when I started liking Edward," said Tiffany sighing, she slowly sat down and slumped in her seat.

Stella suddenly stood up too and yelled back at Jackie, "Why do YOU always get to comment rude things about the people that we like when you're over there obsessing over your stupid little asshole that doesn't even give two fucks about you!"

"Stella, you're making a scene," Delia muttered, looking down at her hands.

Stella pretended not to hear her and continued, "you always think that your so... above and beyond everyone Jackie, but you're just a-"

Stella got cut off by Jackie "What am I? Huh?" Jackie taunted Stella, "You're even worse, you think about everything way too fucking dramatically don't you? You hate that I'm better than you and that everyone likes me, especially the guys. They just love me and you're jealous, you always are, that's the reason why you always pretend to like me and end up causing drama when I had wanted nothi-"

"You think that I'm the one causing drama? Do you? Well sad to disappoint you but you're always the one making weird comments to the guys that you secretly all have a crush over. You flirt with them and you think that all of us are blind, you slut." Stella said returning her words.

By this time, the whole cafe got stonily silent, everyone staring at either Stella or Jackie.

Gertrude had given up with calming them down, Kaitlin and Natalie was watching them anxiously. Tiffany however had cast an invisibility spell on herself and went to who knows where, no one noticed except Delia and she resisted the temptation to set up a tracking spell.

She's going to be fine, thought Delia to herself calming down slightly, I have to stay here so that they don't kill each other.

"How dare you!" Shrieked Jackie flushing with anger, "You are the shittiest fucking person to ever live! You never liked the friends that I had outside of this circle. You never liked either one of the Katie's. You have always hated Katie G. for who knows why. And you wanted to get revenge on Katie T. for something stupid since last year."

The cafe manager came out and walked over to the two with a pen in his hand, waving it around wildly.

"Shut up, both of you!" he shouted in a thunderous tone. "Out, right now!" he pointed towards the door with his pencil and two attendants quickly ran over to open the glass double doors.

Neither Stella nor Jackie payed him any attention.

"Speaking of people that we used and hated, what about Terrell? You remember what you did? You hooked up with him last year just to get information about Sebastian from him. Don't you think that you're an even shittier person?" Screamed Stella.

Jackie froze and Stella knew that she had hit a nerve.

"YOU FUCKING BITCH!" shouted Jackie tears springing up into her eyes.

"ALL OF YOU GET OUT RIGHT THIS MINUTE BEFORE I CALL THE POLICE!" yelled the cafe manager even more loudly.

Stella, with tears in her eyes too, turned on the spot and was gone.

Delia looked worriedly at where Stella had just been and Kaitlin hurriedly said, "I'll follow her". She waved her arms and an electric blue ball of water appeared, drifting out the door with Kaitlin following. A tracking charm.

"Come on Jackie," Gertrude said and led her out of the cafe.

Natalie and Delia followed, suddenly Natalie spun around searching and asked Delia worriedly, "Where did Tiffany go?"

Delia sighed and eyes brimming with tears, told Natalie that Tiffany had disappeared when Stella and Jackie began arguing.

Natalie asked, "can you perform a tracking spell to search where she went?"

"Yea, let's do that now." Delia closed her eyes and thought of Tiffany, how her face looked, how tall she was.

Focusing on those features, she waved her arms, hands drawing back, then pushing forward slowly, she formed a ball of water. Still waving her hands around the ball, she opened her eyes and saw Tiffany, she let go of the breath that she had been holding relieved. But then she saw that Tiffany's eyes were closed and that there was someone, or something next to her.

"Natalie," Delia said her voice shaking

"What?!"

"Come look at this!" Delia showed the ball of water to Natalie.

Natalie peered at the ball of water and gasped, "What-who-what is happening?!"

"I don't know but we have to rescue her," Delia replied, letting go of the ball and as it drifted away, started following it jogging with Natalie following her.

"We need to go faster," Natalie said and transformed into a wolf, running in front of Delia as the ball traveled faster.

They ran for a short time and arrived at Sunrise Port. The ball of water floated slower to the end of the walkway and disappeared into the water in a shimmer of blue sparkles.

Natalie changed back into her human form. "I can't breathe underwater," she said helplessly. "And I can't swim very well either."

"Here," said Delia hurriedly, she gave Natalie a piece of coral gum and said, "just chew on it and as long as it's in your mouth, you'll be a mermaid and would be able to breathe underwater."

"Thanks!" said Natalie, unwrapping it and stuffing the gum into her mouth. "Ooo, raspberry flavored, nice."

Delia dove into the water with a small splash, a part of the water glowed pink, then purple, then back to the normal blue.

Delia resurfaced as a mermaid with her hair braided with rainbow ocean flowers into a fishtail, and wearing a ruby encrusted tiara on top, glittering under the sun. Her tail was different shades of pink background covered with purple patterns, she was wearing a matching crop top set with jewels. Delia also had a dark pink backpack slung over her back.

"Come on!" she gestured to Natalie.

Natalie jumped into the water with a big splash spraying water onto Delia and she laughed. When she resurfaced, she was transformed into a mermaid, though her main color was green. Her hair had green highlights and was pulled back into a ponytail with a small piece of hair braided. Both her tail and halter top were different shades of green with gold designs.

Natalie looked down at herself and she stretched out her tail, watching it glisten with water droplets. "I love being a mermaid," she sighed happily.

"Haha, love that top." Delia said, "Come one, let's go!" Then they both dove underneath the ocean water.
