The moment Kali appeared, the odds were turned against the others. However, they didn't know that. The cloak covered Kali's entire figure causing them to be confused.
"Who are you?!"
"Just a wizard doing what's right."
With that being said, Kali casted an ice barrier between her friends and the others. The long thick ice barrier stretched all the way to the other side of the wall causing Simon and the others to find another way of opening it.
Kali took off her hood and asked, "Are you both okay?"
"I'm fine, but I think Lucy needs some help." Erza said.
"Haha." With a flick of Kali's finger, the ropes became undone.
"What the hell was that?" Lucy exclaimed in frustration. "What did I even do to them? I don't even know them! Also, it's nice to see you, Kali."
"It's nice to see you too, you look great in that dress by the way." Kali said. "I believe Erza has the answer to that."
Erza nodded with an uneasy look on her face.
"Although they aren't my real sisters, we were together a lot in the past. Their names are Milliana, Sho, Simon, and Wally. There was this place called the Tower of Heaven, they took in people, and forced them to work. I met them there as well as another person and stuck together ever since. Back then they weren't able to use magic…I don't know what happened to them now."
"Erza…" Lucy looked at Erza with eyes full of sadness. "Sorry to hear that."
"It's okay, I'm fine now. That was in the past." Erza said as she gathered herself. She wasn't trembling anymore.
Still, Kali had eyes full of doubt.
"Anyway, they're about to break through from above us. Get ready, we still need to save the people inside the cards. Just like the past, Erza, play your role."
"Of course."
The roof above them collapsed as the four figures descended from above. Kali quickly put her hood back on and prepared to fight.
*POW* *POW*
The sound of Wally's gun echoed through the air. Kali's ringed eyes stared at the two bullets that were aiming towards her. For a second, her surroundings turned gray and it seemed as if time stopped.
"Time Magic, dissemble."
Everything around her returned to its natural colors as the two bullets disintegrated into nothing leaving Wally confused.
"Erza!" Kali yelled. "Take Lucy away! She doesn't have her Celestial Keys right now! She'll bring you to it!"
"Okay!"
Erza swiftly dodged the attacks and carried Lucy away.
"Stay alive!"
"Don't worry about me."
Kali smiled under her cloak as she stared at the four figures in front of her. It was a four against one and her opponent clearly had the advantage in numbers against one.
"There's four of us and there's one of you. Why don't you surrender and give Erza back to us." Sho said with a grin.
"She was never yours in the first place, she is her own person. I can see she is reluctant to come with you, so I'll do anything to prevent you from taking her." Kali said.
Sho had an angry look on his face. "You…who even are you? What do you even know about her?! She has us, she doesn't need everyone else! Simon! Do it!"
"Dark Moment!" Simon casted a spell causing the surroundings to turn dark. "Dark Burst!"
Although Kali couldn't see due to the darkness. Her senses allowed her to detect magic and the range of the spell. She dodged the spell perfectly and avoided being grabbed by the rope.
"Fire Bullet." Kali muttered as a large bullet-like stream of fire was directed towards the target.
"Simon!"
"Yes!"
Again, Simon casted his Dark Release spell and successfully countered the fire magic.
"Counter attack! Formation One and Plan A!"
"Did you really think I would wait for you to finish your plan? That's too cliche." Kali said as she appeared in front of Simon and sent him flying into the wall with a kick. "Let's play."
The three figures attacked Kali simultaneously, but it was no use. She dodged and countered every attack that was sent at them. Due to Simon being knocked out, his spell that caused Kali to see the darkness had been released.
"Your attacks have turned desperate. Why do you guys want to take Erza back anyway?" Kali asked as she forced Milliana's face on the ground.
"This is all for Jellal and the Tower of Heaven!" Sho said as he casted his card spell. "This is your end!"
*Snap*
The card disintegrated into dust and Sho felt a strong pain in his stomach. He was sure he heard something crack. The punch from Kali had knocked him out and the last one was Wally.
"Tower of Heaven…I see what's going on." Kali muttered. "You guys have successfully revived it and plan on using Erza as a sacrifice...such friends you are."
"You don't know a thing." Wally said as he shot a bullet which Kali caught in between her fingers.
"I think I know a lot more than you." Kali said with a smile. "So, do you want to continue this fight or are you giving up?"
Wally gritted his teeth. The cloaked figure in front of them was stronger than he thought. She also used some strange magic that caused his bullets to disintegrate before it could reach her.
He looked at his friends that had been knocked out by her and felt a sudden loss of hope. He didn't have a choice to surrender since they stood no chance against her from the beginning.
"Fine, you win." Wally said.
"Good decision, I really didn't want to knock you out too. After all, I need answers. Tell me, why did you guys revive the Tower of Heaven?"
"Of course to revive Zeref."
Kali didn't seem surprised by the information, she suspected it was something like this and Wally's answer confirmed her suspicions. All that's left to do was to head over to the Tower of Heaven.
Though, she felt as if she forgot about someone.
