Kali and the others were now standing in front of a huge wall with a sign that read "Keep Out."
"It's nice that we made it here, but what is this?"
"What does it mean, keep out?"
While the others were doing their own thing, Kali scanned the appearance of the walls. Although the walls seem sturdy, she could tell that one punch could break it if it was strong enough.
"Excuse me! Please open up!" Lucy shouted.
After a few seconds, they finally received a reply from above.
"Who is it?!"
"We're the wizards from Fairy Tail!" Lucy replied back.
"Nobody notified us about the job being accepted!"
"There was probably just some mix-up with the paperwork." Gray quickly said, though it was a lie.
"Show us your emblems!"
Each of them showed off their emblem except for Kali who was still analyzing the environment.
"What about you!"
Kali glanced up. "What about me? I'm with Fairy Tail."
"Where's your emblem?"
"I don't have one." Kali casually replied. Although it may sound unreal, it was in fact the truth. She really didn't have an emblem.
"Then you can't come in."
"Oi! She's with us! And if she can't come in, we're not coming in." Gray added.
A few moments later, the gate opened revealing people with cloaks. In front of them all was a figure with the same clothing but he had a staff with the crescent moon on it.
"I am Moka, the chief of this island," he said. "Let's get straight to business. Please have a look."
Once he said that, everyone took off their cloaks revealing parts of their body parts mutating.
"Just like that man on the boat." Gray muttered.
"Yeah." Lucy said as she looked around in shock.
"Everything on this island is affected by this curse, even birds and dogs." Moka said.
"Not the dogs!" Lucy exclaimed in terror.
"What makes you think the curse is causing this?" Kali asked.
"Huh?"
"I'm just asking what makes you think it's the curse that's causing this, what if it's something else?" Kali asked.
"Well, we've consulted the doctors to see if this was a disease, but they said a disease like this does not exist." Moka replied. "Plus, the moon's magic has something to do with us taking these forms."
"The moon's magic?" Lucy asked.
"This island has absorbed magic since ancient times. It made the entire island shine beautifully like the moon. However, some years ago, the moon suddenly turned purple."
"A purple moon?" Natsu questioned.
"Oh? The moon is coming out." Happy said.
Kali and the others looked up to see the moon and the chief leader wasn't lying, the moon was purple.
"Now this is creepy." Gray commented.
"It's a curse." Moka said. "This is the moon's magic."
Suddenly, the chief leader and the rest of the villagers started groaning in pain. They were grabbing their throats, their arms, and their legs. As each second passed, their body parts kept mutating until they turned into monsters.
"What the…"
"What's going on?"
"What the heck…?"
"Isn't this interesting…" Kali muttered. "You guys have horns, spikes, and even tails too."
"Eh?" Lucy stared at Kali in disbelief. "You find this interesting?"
"Hmm? You don't?" Kali asked innocently. "This is the first time you guys see something like this, why are you all scared?"
"Because this is.." Before Lucy could finish her sentence, Gray interrupted her.
"Don't say anything Lucy. Kali has her own definition of interesting."
"I-I see."
"Anyways, as you can see. We take the form of demons when the purple moon comes out." Moka said. "If this isn't a curse, then what is it?"
"So, when the morning comes. Will you all change back to normal?" Kali asked.
"Yes." Moka replied. "However, there are some who lose their minds and never change back."
"And those who do never change back, you kill them correct?"
Moka looked at Kali in surprise. "How did you know?"
"Isn't it obvious? You guys had no other choice, if you didn't kill it, then it would've killed you."
"You're right." Moka said sorrowfully. "And as a result, I had to kill my own son."
Moka pulled out a picture that looked exactly like the man that was bringing them to the island.
Kali looked at the others and put a finger to her mouth to tell them to not say anything about it.
"Was it a ghost?" Lucy asked.
"Maybe." Gray replied. "After all, he couldn't rest in peace."
"There's no point anymore, we're all going to lose our minds and turn into mindless demons." Moka said while trembling.
"Don't worry! We'll figure something out!" Natsu said in a reassuring tone.
"There is one way to break the curse. The moon…" Moka said. "Please destroy the moon."
After that was said, they were given rooms to rest in. While the others went to their rooms, Kali stayed outside to observe the situation.
Kali looked up to see the purple moon once again.
"The curse isn't a curse, but a spell by using magic."

.
.
When Kali woke up, everyone else was still asleep, not even the villagers were up yet. She's gotten used to waking up this early since there was never a time she could sleep for more than two hours while she was on her missions.
Since Kali was up, she decided to do a little exploring so the others wouldn't have to. Taking the path in front of her, she walked past the trees.
Suddenly, Kali felt the wind change around her. The wind's direction was coming at her at a high speed and at that moment, she knew something was wrong.
With a snap of her finger, there was an invisible shield in front of her. Kali called this the "Shield of Time" because whatever attacked this would be reversed to the point where it didn't exist.
So when the green gas came at her, nothing happened, the green gas disappeared. After the gas disappeared, Kali could see a giant rat in front of her, literally.
"Oh? Is this also the cause of the curse?" Kali mumbled to herself. She raised her hand, formed an Arrow of Time, and threw it at the giant rat.
"Reverse it to when it wasn't cursed." Kali muttered. Once the arrow hit the rat, the rat shrunk. It was now ten times smaller than the size it was. "So my magic works on this curse."
Kali kept walking until she reached a temple with the crescent moon reversed on it. Feeling interested, she decided to check it out for herself.
Inside of the temple was dusty, there were broken pieces everywhere on the floor, and it didn't take a genius to tell that this place was old.
As Kali was walking forward, she felt something familiar. The familiar trace of magic was below her which was extremely weird since she's never been here before.
"Then, why do I feel as if something down there is something I know of?"
With a strong stomp to the ground, the floor broke, which caused Kali to fall straight down. However, a fall about a hundred and fifty feet is nothing to her.
When she landed, she couldn't believe what she saw.
"Deliora..?"
