Luciana stood at the middle of the school hallway, her attention on the guy walking towards her with his friends. You could see her practically drooling as she stared at Cruz Wayne, the hottest guy in school. She's had a crush on him since like forever, and today being the last day of high school was her last opportunity to tell him how she felt. She held a gift tightly to her back, praying prevently that he would at least give her a chance...
He's had no girlfriend since she knew him, instead he was a player. The words 'i love you' easily slipped out of the mouth all the time to girls he played, and they fell for it all the time too. And no, she wasn't just putting herself out here so that he would break her heart too, she was ready for any form of rejection from now, but something kept her going.
She had caught him a lot of times staring at her. Like...a lot! Though he's never approached her for anything, and that made her confident in herself. Who knows? Just as she's had a crush on him, he's also had a crush on him but it's hard for him to confess first because of his pride and that's why he's been holding back so she's gonna take the lead from here on.
She glanced at Her best friend Nora who was standing by her locker, and Nora flashed her the biggest smile, and gave her a thumps up. Luciana smiled back at Nora, looking back at Cruz who was now staring back at her. She tried to steady her nerves and not break off in a run, but then all better nervousness got filtered away when she sighted something.
Lucy had also known she was kind of different, considering the fact that she could see ghosts. Yeah, you heard that right. It started since when she was a baby, and she would see people floating around, sometimes inside her house, some in the bedroom, some in the streets, and even at school. They were almost everywhere she went to. At first when she was about three to give years old, she would chase after them and when her body passed through theirs like they were just air, it would make her giggle. Her parents stared at her like she was running mad.
When she was a little older, and found out that they were ghosts and she was the only one who could see them, it freaked the shit out of her and she locked herself in her room for days. When she got over the fear and talked to a ghost one time, he just stared at her for a long time with it's dead eyes, and from there the ghost started following her around.
It was creepy, and it took her months to finally get rid of the ghosts, and from there on she never spoke to any of them. Why did she even do that in the first place??
When she had told her mum about her seeing ghosts, her mother had suddenly stood up and left her room in shock, and she understood that her mother must know something about this. Apart from her family, Ashley was the only person who knew about this too.
Now, at this moment she should have been nervous but she wasn't anymore. Not because of anything, but because she had just seen a ghost and what the ghost was doing. One of Cruz's friends Blake Josh had stopped and was flirting with a girl, but there was a ghost right there, and guess what it was doing.
It was rubbing it's naked ass all over Josh's face!
Laughter bubbled up inside Luciana and she burst out hard, just as Cruz got to where she stood. She didn't even mind him anymore as she laughed so hard she fell on the ground, rolling all over it. I mean it was so hilarious because Blake was trying to look all cool while he does what he's always do, and then there's a ghost rubbing it's ass all over Blake's face without him knowing. But ghosts were thin air, so Blake wouldn't be feeling anything all, and I'm sure the ghost is just playing around.
Ashley stared at her friend in utter shock as she rolled over the place, holding her belly as wave over waves of laughter crashed over her. Cruz and everyone around had stopped and were now staring at her. When she was done, stood up and dusted her clothes before facing Cruz again. Now she had everyone's attention on her.
Luciana was happy that the nervousness was gone completely, and her heart was beating steady again. She looked at Cruz lynch, her long time crush without feeling anything and then she extended the present to him.
"Here" she said, grabbing his hand and placing the gift on it "It's a scarf I knitted and I've been dying to give you for a very long time now. I wanted to say how much I like you, or if you wanna go on a date with me since I've had this crush. But now I'm feeling perfect again, that laugh was a very good one. I'm alright now, and I don't think I'm ready to get rejected and let it ruin my mood. So, you just hold on to that gift, do whatever you wanna do with it and I'll be on my way"
Just then, the closing bell rang off. I didn't care if the students around were beginning to mutter to themselves and neither did I care about anything else. I walked back to where Ashley stood, still smiling silly.
She gaped at me "What... happened there?"
"I'll tell you on the way" I extended a hand towards her "Shall we??"
He held my hand "We shall"
And then we ran out of school.
I told Ashley about all what happened, and now the crush was suddenly gone just like that. I didn't understand too, but it was a huge relief. It must be because of the laughter.
"OMG!!" Ashley laughed hard "A ghost was rubbing his butt all..." She giggled again before she could complete her sentence. We were walking back home since our house wasn't so far from school. We could be seen as two nineteen year old teenagers laughing our chests out all over the place. Sometimes we'd hug each other if one of us were about to fall.
"So, do you think you can take the dare now??" Ashley asked, her eyes twinkling.
I nodded enthusiastically "Yes, yes! Take me to a club!"
She clapped like a little girl "let's go!"
Would you imagine it if I told you that I've never been kissed before. Yeah, I've been quite laid back because I've had so much to deal with and no time for romance. For example, I've seen what Happened to my parents. Dad and mum fought all the time when I was young, and it really broke my heart.
Mostly when they decided to divorce when I turned fifteen. My mother had originally owned the house, so dad had to move out. I live with my mum now, who works as a doctor in one of the biggest hospitals in town.
The only person I had a crush on...and I have suddenly gotten over it...was as you know Cruz Wayne. But now, I'm gonna step it up a bit...after all I'm have to fulfill my dare.
"So how are we getting in?" I asked Ashley as we arrived. The bouncer wouldn't just let anyone in!
"I've got that covered" she smirked. And trust me whenever she smirks, she had a really bad plan up her sleeves. She pulled me into a corner just a few feet away from the club, and then she picked up an empty alcohol bottle from the floor around. I just hid behind her, anxious to what she was planning now.
I should have stopped her, but I was too excited.
I didn't know how she did it, but when she finally threw that bottle, it caused a chain reaction. She threw the bottle into the busy road, just in front of a biker. The biker swerved to miss the bottle, and ended up knocking into a parked bicycle. He had ran I to the bicycle so hard that the bike flew up, and ended up knocking into the bouncer!
What???
Ash quickly grabbed my hand and pulled me. When we got to the bouncer, about three people had already arrived first and one of them was trying to get the bike off the man, and with that distraction we quickly slipped inside the club.
The place was loud with music, and most people were dancing on the dance floor.
Different lights shone all over the place, and about three people were seated by the bartender sipping on their drinks.
"It's really loud!!!" Lucy shouted over the music.
"That's how it mostly is!!!" Ash yelled back before adding "it's a club for above twenty. So, grab someone and kiss him hard and let's get out of here before someone finds us and throw us out!!" She finished.
Lucy nodded and looked around once again. Most of the women around were half dressed, and some were getting very intimate on the dance floor. But, two of the men who had been sitting by the bar had left, and it was remaining just one.
Lucy smiled internally as she took off running towards him. He must be a very lucky man, to be the one she was gonna give her first kiss to. She got to where he sat, then she gently tapped him on the shoulders so he would turn around.
And when he did...Her breath got stuck in her throat.
Crystal green eyes stared at her, and it was mesmerizing. His nose and jawlines were sharp, and perfect and he had full brown lips. His hair was a little long and he had tucked them behind his ear, but some fell over his left eye giving him this dangerous look. He looked like he was in his late tweties.
He didn't say anything to her, neither did he make an expression. It was just a blank but handsome face he's got there.
She could feel her heart beating faster again, and the nervousness had returned. Would it be alright if a nineteen year old kissed a man who was much more older??
Oh! Who was she kidding! It's a free country and it's a club.
Everyone is allowed to have fun.
She didn't think about it again, she grabbed his shoulders... handful of the shirt he was putting on, and pulled. The last thing she caught was a slight flicker on his green eyes before she closed hers and his soft lips touched hers. She felt an electric shock running through her body, and she curled her toes.
Is this what a kiss felt like??
She didn't move, or deepen the kiss any further. Till she felt his strong hands snaking around her neck, before he pulled her even closer, deepening the kiss further. Her head rolled, and she gripped his shoulders even tighter. This...this was insane wasn't it?
