Chapter 2 - Chapter 01 : Morning chill

It was a day like every other day. The sky was dyed with blue and yellow hues but yet it wasn't like every other morning.

There was a comforting and refreshing chill in the air not like the usual cold one from past few months.

Mr. Elgin was calling out names of the newly arrived workers and assigning them work and teaching them the rules of this County.

Although the County of Rac was one of ten Counties in this Kingdom of Ivanun. It wasn't one of the largest nor was it one of the richest.

It was filled with heritage of the past and upcoming glory of its youth as Mother says.

Her two beloved sons with both mind and a face so dazzling that even the upper aristocrat and high society talk about their merits and whose house would covet this brilliant gems of this generation in the future.

Her other two daughters were so alluring and learned in the way of high society, music and literature. They were as if a new refreshing wave of balance between old traditions, heritage, culture and new revolutionary ideas.

A new taste between the outdated ladies and repulsing too forward women. A perfect balance every new era man desires and every insecure lady wishes to be.

Her parents had five children, an eldest daughter of 18, eldest son of age 17,  second son of 14, second daughter of 16 and third daughter of 15.

She was the third daughter and fourth child of the County of Rac.

Even if she was like a brilliant and unique piece of a Master painter hanging on the wall of a Royal Art Gallery in front of so many paintings and sculptures made by Grand Masters her light would be dimed.

She wasn't like the clever, beautiful, elegant and knowledgeable in the way of high society, music and literature eldest sister Isabella nor was she like her elder brother Matthew who was both clever and knowledgeable in the way of management, accounts, politics and literature with both good face and figure due to his excellent swordsmanship.

She wasn't like her second elder sister Ella. Excellent in etiquette, fashion sense, keen sense of knowledge in literature from far beyond the kingdom. Well versed in poem of every genre and music.

She didn't had a keen sense of challenge nor bravery like that of her younger brother Wallace. He was good in the way of sword, music, literature, hunting and had a head filled with revolutionary ideas and some of his own.

But she, she was just an ordinary dandelion in a field filled with exotic and rare flowers, whose fumes can not be hindered by any obstacle in the way.

Only to be carried away by the winds and tides of the water to far away lands to the fields of dreamers and for their achievements to become the fodder for another generation of young dreamers.

She just dreamed to be one with the surrounding and of a day where there was no pain and boundaries in this world.

A foolish dream only in one's mind could it live, even the heavens could not achieve it but she was a human, only human.
