Tae
I let out a sigh of relief as soon as Kyle locks the door.
"What was that?!" He exclaims and sits on the floor beside me, crossing both of his legs.
"I don't know either," I reply. The both of us are still panting for air. The scene we just faced was nothing but unusual. I just hope the guards are dealing well with the crowd.
"You should have a bodyguard with you from now on."
"No need. Two weeks, and things will get normal, back at their places," I reply as I stand up, now attempting to walk towards my room.
"Things have changed Tae!" Kyle shouts, making me stop at my track. I turn to face him, "For me."
He only sighs and smiles, then back to minding his own business. "I know it's hard for you guys, but please normalize this Kyle, there's no other way." And I walk to my room.
I may not agree with them, but yes, things have changed for all of us. Though I'm pretty sure that everything will be back on track, yet, some things will be unable to go back to track at the same time.
My gaze drops on '𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫' at the thought of things going back on the track. This was supposed to be my last ever painting, but it's still an unfinished work. And I'm not courageous enough to hold a paintbrush and a palette full of different shades of colors anymore.
This proves what a coward I am! I can't even complete my last piece of painting.
I take out a bar of chocolate from my pocket with hopes that it hasn't melted yet. Unwrapping it, I take the biggest bite possible.
"Tasty," I try to say through my stuffed mouth.
Chocolate, the only thing that can give me peace in the most chaotic and fvcked up times. Doesn't change the reality though, I have to face all the disappointed expressions of people, and the paintings I made through the years, it's as if they will be laughing at me whenever they'll see my face from today.
Another pack of reporters are gonna interview me tomorrow. I had to agree with this interview, or things may go more out of hand. I hope Kyle-
"Trevor Kang!" Kyle's shouts can be heard from the other side of the door featuring extreme door banging sounds.
"Sorry," I open the door without any delay. "What sorry?" the guy scoffs, lowering both his shoulders to have a proper eye contact with me. "Mina just informed me that the interviewers are coming here tomorrow." I knew he is going to be disappointed.
"It's fine unless they are disrespectful," he says with a sigh and goes back to his room. Well, that was an unexpected reaction from him. He usually gets mad when interviewers come here. I can't blame him though, the media is so rude at times and Kyle is aware about it the most.

My heart almost stops beating when I hear the bell. "Monsters have came Tae. I'mma stay at my room, deal now."
Standing up from my place, I run to the main door to 'welcome' the interviewers.
"Hello! Please come in everyone!" And all of them come in as they sit on the couch while flashing pearly white teeth to me.
"Please make yourself comfortable," putting the tray with six cups of tea on it, I finally sit on another couch, now facing all of them. "We may start now."
━━━━━━━━━━━━
I know all of the interviewers, except this one new girl. She is so young compared to the others. Young ones are the most dangerous, they end up asking the weirdest questions. But this girl was totally different than I expected her to be. She asked only two questions, not to mention, the most sensible ones.
"Her whole personality seems so calm," I sigh as few drops of tears find their way out of my eyes while '𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫' is burning.
"Why are you burning it?" a female voice catches my attention, now footsteps getting closer and then stopped. "My painting, my my wish," I reply without bothering to turn back.
The footsteps can be heard again, now the person is just beside me.
"𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫, isn't it?" and this forces me to turn to face the person. A living hell is waiting for me.
