Kiara sighed deeply and tightly clenched around Hawk's shirt.
"Do you know what happened today?" She mumbled.
Hawk's hand that was patting her paused and he shook his head sideways. "You want to talk about it?" He placed his hands on her shoulder and looked down at her.
"I made sure that woman lose everything." She waited for Hawk to say something but he didn't say a word.
"She fainted after I took away her company from her. I am sure the next news she will be getting will bring her to her death bed and her proud smile will finally wilt." Kiara continued to tell him about the accomplishments she had made.
"Her house has been taken away and also the beloved things that she bought with all the money she had collected for all these years."
Hawk lifted his hand from her shoulder and then stroked her head gently. "So? How do you feel now? Did it bring the contentment you were hoping for?"
