The next few days went by mostly uneventful. The Misfit Toys guild hall finally opened back up and began serving customers again. By now everyone had heard of the incident and was surprised to hear that they would resume operations as normal.
The first thing that the guild had done was hire a messenger to let the King know that Mikax would be arriving within a week to discuss business. This was not a request but a demand of his time.
Next, they began hiring every messenger and mercenary in town to start going to other cities to recruit skilled laborers. This was only the first task they had hired them for. The second task was to then hire people in that town to do the same thing. This would spread the word exponentially.
The only unfortunate thing was that no one was willing to risk going to the elven country to do any recruiting. Mikax added that to the list of tasks that he would need to accomplish.
