If it wasn't for Tasia, Hadyan certainly wouldn't want to do this kind of thing. But he was also happy to be able to spend time alone with his empress by doing small things like this.
"I know, Hadyan," Tasia replied, still rummaging through the wardrobe.
"Then why do you still look confused?" Hadyan asked.
"Well.. It's because I'm nervous to meet a woman as great as Queen Lastri. She has raised a son as great as you. I feel inferior." She chuckled awkwardly.
"Our children will one day be greater than me. And you will be a greater woman than my mother." Hadyan said by giving a bright yellow cloth to Tasia. "This is your favourite colour. A cheerful colour like the sun; represents your smile."
Tasia stared at the cloth for a moment, then smiled and nodded. Hadyan was right. She didn't have to think about what other people liked. She just needed to be the best version of herself.
