Tasia woke up from her sleep with a startle. It looked like Argani made her pass out on the way. Tasia quickly sat up from her lying position. She was on a soft bed in a room with a cave ceiling that felt humid. She knew the room. She remembered it.
It was the same room she had been in as a child. The difference was that now the furniture in the room looked shabby and dirty. Tasia removed the blanket covering her legs just to find that both of her ankles were being chained. And she wasn't surprised by that.
Tasia pulled the chain until it made a slight rattling sound, "Where did he join it to?" She muttered, trying to find the end of the chain.
"Are you awake?" Tasia flinched when she realized that Argani was already in the doorway of the room, watching her action.
"Let me go!" Tasia exclaimed fiercely. But Argani just smiled and stepped closer to her.
"You've changed a lot. But one thing hasn't changed about you. Stubbornness." He said.
