Tasia opened her eyes. What she had watched opened an old wound that had been scratched and added a new wound there. Her tears could no longer come out. She was still trying to digest the memory that felt like a dream. She had never thought so many memories had been hidden from her for almost all her life.
"I hope you don't regret it because I know it hurts a lot. But I've warned you." Jihan said. He also still remembered how he got involved with that case as a child. It indeed was a bad memory, even for him.
The candle that had almost all melted on the floor instantly extinguished when Jihan unlinked his fingers. The ritual was over. Tasia was back. Or could be said, she had returned to her old self, with all her gifted powers.
Jihan got up and turned on the room's light. Then he turned to Tasia who was still sitting frozen in the same position.
