Out of the corner of her eye, Tasia saw Ms Anna among the crowd of other prisoners. Tasia knew that the woman would be able to explain to her where the designated prisoner had been taken. The ceremony was dismissed eventually and they all had to get back to work immediately. It turned out that there was no such thing as a break or lunchtime here.
On her way back to the rock-breaking area, Tasia was lucky to be able to walk side by side with Ms Anna. However, that woman acted a bit insane in front of the others.
"Ma'am! It's me, Tasia!" She whispered quickly.
The woman immediately turned to Tasia with bulging eyes. She gave the girl a threatening look. She might get into trouble just because of this crazy girl.
"Where did they take the prisoners?" Tasia asked quickly before they separated at the crossways ahead.
The woman looked around for a while, "They need workers in the city or palace."
"Palace?" Tasia heard a clue.
