"They won't remember me anymore. All memories of me will be erased as if they had never lived their life with me in it." He answered casually.
The answer somehow made Tasia's heart uncomfortable. But of course, it was well covered.
"That's... weird and great. I didn't know a supernatural being could do such a thing." She muttered in disbelief.
"Hey, hey! Don't daydream. You can be possessed if your mind is blank, you know?" Hadyan snapped his fingers in front of Tasia's face.
The girl woke up and laughed shyly. Tasia's expression made Hadyan very excited. Even though he was only joking about being possessed because there was no way any other supernatural being would dare to approach them as long as Hadyan was around.
"Em.. Have I ever said that I didn't know you could be this much fun?" Tasia asked, between her laughs.
Hadyan shook his head, "You haven't. And I also didn't know I could be like this."
"Is that true?" Her eyes rounded, making Hadyan excited and amazed at the beauty that exceed the most beautiful pearl of the ocean.
He nodded, "Before, I was a rigid figure. Maybe, because I've been separated from my family since I was a teenager, because Dewi Roro raised me as her child..."
"Wait! What?! Dewi Roro?! The greatest mystical demon queen of the ocean?! You're her adopted son?! Really?!" Tasia cut in with a line of questions speedily.
Hadyan made a chuckle, "Why are you so surprised? I know, Dewi Roro is great, but the expression on your face makes me nervous." He said honestly, with the urge to pinch the girl's cheeks.
"Is it?" Tasia covered her cheeks with both hands.
"Don't do that. My true nature still remains a lot, don't make me attack you, Anastasia." He smiled scarily.
Tasia immediately lowered her hands and corrected her sitting position, "I'm not afraid of you anymore. So, your efforts are in vain, snake prince." She said before gulping.
The guy raised his eyebrows, pretending to be surprised, "Wow! I'm amazed at your courage now. Should I go back to my old self?" he laughed.
Tasia shook her head quickly, "No, no. You look cool just this way."
Hadyan smiled broadly, until Tasia realized and was surprised at what she just said, then tried to straighten her words, "I meant, your attitude is better now. I'm not trying to lecture you, but I mean, you look more human.. No, I mean, um.. less scary..? Yes.. it's kind of that.." she stammered.
Hadyan laughed at Tasia's flustered face, and he felt very happy because the cause of her reddened cheeks was him. He couldn't stand it and finally pinched the sweet girl's right cheek in front of him, "Don't mind it, there's no need to be ashamed. I appreciate your honesty."
"No way! You misunderstood!" Tasia struggled until her cheeks were getting redder and hotter.
Hadyan continued to laugh, while Tasia tried to release his pinch.
"Hadyan! Tasia!" The both of them stopped when they heard someone shouting at them from a distance.
"Oh? Marya?" Tasia let go of Hadyan's hand and rubbed her cheek that had been pinched for too long.
"What are you guys doing here?" Marya asked, taking a step closer.
"We bought food at the mini market, and then decided to sit here for a while," Tasia replied.
"What are you doing here?" It was Hadyan's turn to ask confusedly.
"I want to go to the mini market too. My house is also around here. I told you before, didn't I?" She answered.
Hadyan thought for a while, "Oh, yes! Sorry that I forgot."
Marya laughed, "It's okay, Hadyan."
"Eh! What a coincidence that we meet. I think I want to play at your house, Tasia. Can I?" Marya Begged.
"Of course, you can. Hadyan, you can come too if you want." Said Tasia. If the three of them played at home with Marya included, surely the housemaid at her house would not be suspicious.
"I'm sorry, Tasia. But I've promised my mother to not come home too late." He answered.
Tasia nodded, "It's okay, Hadyan." she smiled.
"Yes, Hadyan. It's okay. Oh, since you brought a motorbike, Tasia and I will be walking home together. It's better if you go home now, it's almost sunset soon." Marya continued.
Hadyan glanced at his watch briefly then nodded, "You're right. Then, I'll go first."
"Hadyan, don't let your lunch box be carried home by me." Tasia smiled by handing the empty lunch box to Hadyan who had just finished wearing the helmet.
"Oh.. you're right," He laughed briefly and then got on his motorbike after putting the lunch box in the trunk of the seat.
"Thanks for today, Anastasia." He said as he started the engine.
"I don't know what I've done for you, but, you're welcome." She laughed confusedly, Hadyan laughed too. While Marya stood there smiling happily among them.
"I'm heading off now, see you later." He said.
"Bye..!" Marya exclaimed while waving along at Hadyan's motorbike that was speeding away.
The two high school girls walked leisurely towards Tasia's house. The orange twilight sky made their shadows reflect lengthwise on the quiet residential street.
"How unusual you hang around with Hadyan. Looks like you two are getting closer, huh?" Marya said with a small laugh.
Tasia nodded, "Well.. it turns out Hadyan isn't as bad as I thought. He's totally different from what I thought before."
"Right, right! I knew he was a cool guy from the first place!" Marya laughed excitedly "Then, you two also accidentally met at the mini market like me, right?"
Tasia shook her head, "He came to my house. But I didn't dare to let him in because I was afraid that Susan would tell to Grandma. So we decided to go to the mini market."
Marya raised her eyebrows, "O-oh.. I see.. That makes sense. Hadyan found out about your house after he took you home when you were sick." she muttered, then chuckled as she scratched her not itchy head. "Well.. it must be boring if you just moved house to a new area. Luckily, he knows your house, so he could ask you to go out."
Tasia nodded in agreement, 'You don't know, he knows my house because he's always stalking me.' She said in her mind.
"Hadyan is very kind and cool, isn't he? You already know, right? That I have feelings for him.."
"What?! Really?!" Cut Tasia in shock.
Marya nodded innocently, "I've told you about it, haven't I? When we were walking home from school together. I told you at length." She paused for a moment then continued, "And then, even I asked you if you liked Hadyan, and you said no."
Tasia choked to hear it, she recalled the incident "I.. I think I remember it."
Marya smiled happily and then embraced Tasia's arm with a spoiled, "Gosh! You're not that old to be forgetful!" she laughed mockingly. "Well.. because it seems you are getting closer to Hadyan, as a good friend, please help me to get closer to him too. Could you do that for me?"
