The couple stole glances at the calm guy who was eating spaghetti in front of them. This childish behaviour made the guy feel uncomfortable, but he didn't have the heart to complain to them both. The two weird people who were eating beef steak were his grandfather's friends. Their relationship was actually kind of weird. But, he could only accept it because, from a young age, his life had been made no sense.
After he finished eating his meal, he sipped his drink tensely. Because of what? It's the couple in front of him who was waiting for him with eyes like hungry puppies waiting to be fed.
"Um.. Thank you for the food." He said politely.
Aunt Janet heaved a sigh of relief, "You're welcome. So.. Can we start yet?" secretly, she glanced at her expensive-branded watch. In two hours now, she had to attend a meeting with a client.
"Oh. Of course, Ma'am. I'll call him now." The guy immediately took out his cell phone.
"Thank you." Said Uncle Halim.
