'Hmm... I think this is the place.' Vanessa thought as she looked at the old beaten down pizzeria. "What a dump" she muttered under her breath. She looked around as the old white pickup truck pulled into the small lot. As he got out she realized that he was her coworker that was going to help her get settled into the job.
"Hey, so you're the new night guard?" her coworker said,
"I'm Sin." he said.
"Vanessa, but you can call me Vanny," she replied.
He did a little wave then said "Welp, come on in." as he unlocked the back door to the pizzeria.
"Coming?" he said in a quiet voice.
As Vanny walked into the old pizzeria, she caught a glimpse of something slithering into the vents and out of sight.
"What was that?" she asked, pointing to the vents.
"What was what?" he replied, looking at the vents. "Oh, that was probably Mangle. You should stay away from her. She likes to trick people into the vents with her."
"Who's Mangle and why into the vents?" Vanny asked.
"I'll tell you later," he said instead of answering, "Shift's about to start."
Vanny looked back up at the vents, wondering why someone would be in there.
The first hour of the shift went with both of them barely talking to each other, besides Sin telling her to keep careful watch of all the cameras. "So, got any hobbies?" she asked, trying to spark up a conversation.
"Music. I enjoy writing songs," he replied.
Vanny was shocked; he seemed to be the quiet type. Didn't think he would like to write music. "So you sing too?" she asked.
He stayed quiet, then said, "Yeah," in a quiet, low voice.
"Cool," Vanny replied. She turned back to the cameras and realized, with a jolt of panic.
"H-hey, Sin, where did the big yellow duck go?" Vanny said, as the panic entered her voice.
"Oh, NOW they start to come. Right as I was 'bout to sleep." Sin muttered to himself as he got up and walked over to the cameras.
"So, see the bear? That's Freddy Fazbear, he is the main mascot of the building and all the other Fazbear Pizzerias, besides, CBPW."
"CBPW?" Vanny asked, confused and implying that she clearly wants to know what it stands for.
"Ya' know Circus Baby's Pizza World. A place of fantasy and fun," he said in a bored voice, "Blah blah blah... Circus Baby. You know about Circus Baby? She's the main character there."
Vanny looks at him, listening intently.
"Anyway, that blue-ish purple rabbit? Bonnie. He plays the guitar," he says. "One thing Da- I mean Mr. Afton did wrong was give him an electric guitar with normal sounds," he adds under his breath.
"What did you say?"
"Nothing! Uh- where was I? Oh! Chica! She's that... big yellow duck," he says slowly, cringing at his own words. "She's actually a chicken. FYI, she hates it when you call her a duck."
He sighs, thinking of how to explain the last one after the next. "Foxy. He's behind the purple curtain. Some say he killed a kid!" Sin gave a dry laugh. "And there's another one, but they aren't... Well, let's just say, they're in the back for a reason."
"What's the reason?" Vanny asked curiously.
"Well... she- they are broken," he said nervously.
'Hmmm...' Vanny thought, then remembered that Chica was gone. "Well what about Chica? Don't tell me they can move on their own." she said, slightly panicked.
"Well... yeah. They do move around at night, 'cause their servos lock up if they get turned off for too long," he said, "Anyway, check the cameras that are right at the doors."
"K... got it. Nothing there," she said looking up to Sin as he walked up to the right door.
"See this button?" he asked, slightly touching the grey button.
"Yep," she replied.
"This is the light button, it turns the light outside of the door on," he said. He pressed the button and Vanny almost had a heart attack.
"What the HELL!!?" she shouted as she fell back and looked up at the giant yellow chicken. Sin pressed the red button that was right above the light button.
"The red one is the door button. If they are outside of your door, press the red button and press the light until you don't see her in the window anymore." He pressed the light button and Chica was gone.
"H-ho... How are you so calm," she asked him cautiously.
"Heh," he said with a smirk on his face. "You'll get used to getting scared sooner or later."
