The Love I Shared With You

My life was so bland up until I started college. I fell in love. But, it happened twice. Heartbreak was a common thing for me, especially the first time round, but once I got over that my heart found my soul mate. He was just a friend at the time I fell for him hard, but instead of doing nothing about it, I was determined to get his attention. The day we started to really get to know each other felt so nice. I had butterflies in my stomach, but once he ask me for my number, I knew I had a chance to win him over. That night I called him and we were talking for hours. I just lay on my bed dreaming that he was lying next to me, but we ended the night with plans to hang out that weekend. Every night after school up until the day we were planning to meet, we talked for hours getting to know each other better before I found out that he liked me. I obviously was extatic and my heart started to swell with love. From all of the happiness I felt, I decided to ask him if he wanted to change our 'hanging out' thing into a date instead, which he quickly said yes to. My heart skipped a beat. He told me that he was falling in love with me, which made me quickly realise that he was the one I wanted to be with for the rest of my life. And still when I see his gorgeous blue eyes, I'm reminded of the day we met.
