Part 0: Beginning and the End?
Arc 1: What's The Truth?
"Come on, Kid. The flower's only started to bloom, wake up. Wake up. Wake! Up!" a lingering voice echoes through the dark, one of... strange comfort, familiar and far away. Yet Unusual and Close.
"Come on! Wake up! You stupid jackass! Sam! Sam! Don't let this be the one where I fail!" the pain in my chest cries out, what's going on? Everything's dark, is someone there?
"28 Flowers Dance. 14 to One. 14 to Two." the voice of... of mother? It's dancing...
"Foolish decisions and Innocent illusions"
(A young girl, around the age of 18 suddenly wakes up in her bed, under her purple blankets, her eyes are a beautiful forest green color. She hits the alarm clock to shut it up, the time is 3:57 AM. The sun hasn't risen yet, she climbs out of her bed, she stands at 5'7ft (173cm) tall, taller than the average Japanese woman. She does a few stretches before she stands in front of the mirror and she combs her long blonde hair, it falls to her shoulders, she lets it fall freely as it feels the most comfortable for her. She has an average stature and build. She gets out of her gray pajamas and puts on a beige leather biker jacket, over a gray and green button down shirt. Her pants are dark red jeans, the knees are slightly torn open. Her shoes are black sneakers. On her back hand is a small scar, most likely caused by a knife cut. She puts on a white and black scarf and is ready to start her day.)
(She looks out the window and sees that it is snowing outside, an uncommon occurrence, but a welcome one in Tokyo. She walks out of her room, down the dark oak floors of her stairs. Into the kitchen, she finds a letter from her parents on the refrigerator. It says that they went on another business meeting in Europe, they will be back tomorrow or the day after that. There's more than enough food in the fridge for her should she get hungry. She crumples up the letter and throws it into the trash can.)
(Inside a small supermarket across from a gas station. A Japanese boy, 17 years old walks around inside it, with a shopping bag in hand. He opens the cool drink freezer, but he struggles to reach the top shelf where the milkshakes are being held, due to his short height of 5'2ft (158cm) and his skinny, small, almost malnourished stature and build. He finally manages to grab one, but he loses his balance and falls backwards, hitting his head on the floor. He stands up and looks at the milkshake bottle, his purple eyes reflecting off of it. He puts it in the bag and fixes his caramel brown hair, parting it to the left again, it falls naturally off the side. He is wearing a white winter trench-coat, with two red stripes over the arm sleeves, over a black vest and black tight-fitting sweatpants. His shoes are white sneakers, the sleeves are tucked into the shoes neatly. To go with his winter-ready appearance he wears white woolen gloves.)
The boy: (He walks over to the magazine isle and starts looking at various magazines, he opens a health and fitness magazine, and starts reading through it.) (He speaks in a quiet, serious, almost like classic western heroes, such as Clint Eastwood. But yet he has this bit of sarcasm and youthful life in his voice.) "It is scientifically proven that jogging at least 3km everyday, will improve your health and help you live longer." *Wheeze* As if.
(He puts the magazine back in and starts looking around for a specific one)
The Store Clerk: Tornado Monthly hasn't come in yet. Maybe later today, but no guarantees, Sam.
Samuel Logan Reyes: Oh, okay thanks.
(He walks up to the store clerk and pays for all the stuff he bought. He walks out the supermarket and down the street)
Samuel Reyes: (He reaches into the bag and takes out a blue Fidget Spinner and starts spinning it, while he walks, he doesn't seem all that impressed by it) I mean I can kinda see how people find these things entertaining. It's like a small Dust Devil in your hand. Ain't no EF-5 Tornado though.
(Down the road, an American man around 19 years old is crouching down in front of a small koi fish pond, feeding them worms and seeds. His hazel eyes reflecting on the water's surface, he notices his black hair is uncombed and sitting wildly, but he doesn't care about it,only focusing on the fish in the pond. He stands up, revealing his 5'9ft (179cm) tall height, his stature is average and slim, but he seems to occasionally work out. His dark blue duster-coat is swept back past his waist for comfort, on the backside of the left shoulder of the coat is the outline of a star. The black shirt he has on doesn't properly fit him, as it is appears too large for him. His brown pants are low fitting and also appear too large for him, although it appears he likes large clothes for comfort reasons. His shoes are desert tan crocks and he has a single fingerless glove on his left hand.)
The man: (He speaks in a soft, innocent, and introverted quiet voice. Like someone who keeps to himself often) I'll be back later, don't worry guys.
(The girl is walking down the street across from Sam, reading a school history textbook, the topic being on King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table)
The Girl: (Her voice is like that of an angel's, soft and innocent. However she seems slightly agitated and irritated) *Ugh* Why do I need to learn about all this stuff anyway?! How am I gonna use King Arthur in my daily life?!
(While Sam crosses the street, the shopping bag tears open, everything inside the bag falls out. Including his Journal and his hardcover copy of Paradise Lost, the Epic Poem writing by John Milton)
Sam: Oh... dammit. (He bends down to pick up everything on the ground) Cheap shopping-market bags.
(Sam doesn't notice the oncoming semi-truck behind him, the driver is drunk and his headlights are turned off. However the girl sees it, she shouts to Sam to get out of the way, but it's too late. She runs over to Sam as fast as possible, behind Sam she sees the figure of a tall 6'4ft man shrouded in shadow holding his hand out to her. She pushes Sam out of the way just in time to save him from the truck. She gets sent flying across the street, into a wall. Sam scrambles onto his feet and runs towards the girl.)
Sam: (He lightly shakes and pushes the girl to try.) Hey! Hey! Come on wake up, please!
The girl: (Her last thoughts echo through her mind.) What... happened? I... I... everything feels like it hurts. (She opens her eyes for one more time.) Hey... hey... what are you doing? I feel like I can... sleep for once.
The man: (He runs up to Sam from down the street.) Hey! What happened?! (He stands behind Sam, holding onto his knees out of breath) What happened he-... (He sees the girl dead in Sam's arms) Oh no...
Sam: (Tears are rolling down his cheeks, uncontrollable, fearful tears. He nudges her lifeless body again and again) Wake up... wake up! Wake up dammit!
The man: (He touches Sam's left shoulder) I don't think she's-...
Sam: (He throws off the man's hand) She's fine... see... *Silent Tearful Laughter* She's... still here... isn't she...
(Mad laughter bursts out of Sam's mouth as he hold the girl tighter, hugging her. The man notices another oncoming vehicle, he picks Sam up and starts dragging him away, but he's too slow he can only look at the oncoming truck as it drives head first into them.)
(Just as the truck hits them, Sam wakes up screaming in a dark room, sitting on a wooden chair, across from another chair. The floors are made of oak wood. The walls are made of bricks. Two doors, one black, the other one white stand on the left wall of the room both of them are locked strangely. On the back wall is a gray door. A bed with a red blanket on it, lies in the top-right corner of the room. The only light source in the room is a small light bulb hanging from the roof)
(A woman walks into the room from the gray door, she is wearing a full black cowl, that hides her face. Yet a single strand of her long white hair is visible from from underneath the cowl. She closes the door and looks at Sam with a smirk on her face, "Samuel Reyes. Welcome... to your Afterlife.")
