Chao Li went to Dai Yi courtyard, and when he went there, he saw a disciple guarding the courtyard, and when that disciple saw incoming Chao Li, he sternly ordered, "You! Stop there! Do you know this is Senior Dai Yi's courtyard? Only if you have permission can you enter it, so do you have any?"
"Yes, I have! Senior Dai Yi accepted me as his apprentice, and here is the proof!" Chao Li showed a badge. That badge had been given by Dai Yi when he accepted Chao Li as an apprentice helper.
That disciple amazingly looked at Chao Li's badge and then astonishingly asked, "You accepted as an apprentice of Senior Dai Yi! Are you serious?"
He couldn't believe someone would choose hell purposefully.
"Yeah! Is there anything wrong with that!" Chao Li casually replied.
"Is there anything wrong?" That disciple suspiciously muttered as he looked at Chao Li to verify if there was anything wrong with Chao Li's mind.
"You, if you are done with check, let me in; I want to see the herb garden, as from now onwards I have to look after it." Chao Li wheedled.
That disciple was dumbfounded by Chao Li's eagerness to enter hell, and he wanted to warn Chao Li, but by seeing his cold behavior, he wanted Chao Li to suffer in the hands of Dai Yi.
"Ok, you can go on, but be careful while you are in the garden!" He warned as he opened the door.
Chao Li casually nodded his head and entered the courtyard, and after moving for some distance on the lane, he saw a vast open land in front of his eyes.
That land was filled with countless herbs and plants and even had some weird trees with some weird patterned bark.
He carefully stepped in it and took the jade which contained instructions to grow the plants.
Chao Li clicked the jade, and immediately a 3D Screen appeared in front of him containing a picture, and below that picture, there were some instructions.
"Red Sage, a Tier-Three herb. Must expose to sunlight during the day. Should check if it is properly exposed to sunlight all the time. Must water with Shu Liquid during the dusk. Only had to water 200 ml Shu Liquid."
"......" Chao Li read all the information of Red Sage and then saw the next instructions,
"Grey Ginseng, A Tier-Four herb, should always keep in the dark and would have to water twice in a month and that too on new moon day."
"Green Butterfly, A Tier-Three herb, should expose to moderate sunlight,...."
"Twin Violet, A Tier-Four Herb,......."
"Shu Grass, A Tier-Two Herb........"
One after another, Chao Li read all the information, and at the same time, had matched the herbs on the field with his list.
After four hours, he surveyed all the herbs and plants in the garden and learned about their conditions.
After reading all that, he muttered, "It's a really hefty one, and I need to organize it properly, and only then can I able to meet the requirements specified by Senior Dai Yi."
Chao Li first verified whether all the herbs were arranged as per the light and temperature specifications, and after verifying for a long time,
"Hu! They are in order, and then the main things left are watering, regular cutting, enriching, and harvesting tasks. And there are some other tasks like verifying the deceased or sick herbs and separating from others." He thought inside.
"It isn't easy, so first, I will schedule everything so that I can't miss any details." He determined.
Immediately after, he prepared a schedule for every task timely so that he wouldn't forget something in a day.
It took him nearly another four hours when he arranged everything for himself, and without knowing the night had already come,
"It's already night!" He mused and thought, "I might take nearly another hour to go back to my room. And to come back, it might take another hour in the next morning!"
"Master Dai Yi said to me to use a guest room in his courtyard, so I think I should spend my night in that." He muttered gently.
After that, he went to the room specified by Dai Yi and slept in there,
And one hour before the dawn itself, Chao Li woke to water a specific herb, and when he went to the garden, he was stiffened. Because in there, he saw Dai Yi, watering the herb Chao Li had wanted to water.
Dai Yi gently watered that herb with Shu Liquid, a type of water filled with great Shu Energy, and depending upon Shu Energy concentration, the level of Liquid would change.
While watering the herb, Dai Yi was calm and composed, different from his hot-tempered personality. He was deeply involved with it, and in his actions, there contained some type of love and affection, as a farmer cared for his crop.
He resembled some of the typical farmers Chao Li had seen in his lifetimes.
After watering it, he gently caressed the herb and slowly lifted his hand, and as he lifted, his composure turned cold,
"You are one minute late!" He coldly snapped at Chao Li.
Chao Li became awkward, and before he even replied, Dai Yi replied, "Anyway, you are far better than the previous one, so I won't punish you today, but if this happens tomorrow, I won't tolerate you."
"Thank you, master, for your forgiveness; I won't make this mistake tomorrow." Chao Li sincerely replied.
"Humm! I hope you will stick to your words." He hoped and continued, "Take care of the herbs, and I will go and practice alchemy in the department."
"Ok, Master!" Chao Li replied. After that, Dai Yi went to the alchemist department to practice alchemy.
"Hu! Just escaped!" Chao Li breathed a sigh of relief.
"I need to be careful from now onwards." He determined and immediately looked for his next schedule.
It was after one hour, and thus in that time, he could do anything he wanted to do.
"Well, What to do next? I must think of ways to increase my contribution points. What is my best choice to raise my contribution points?"
After thinking for a long time, "Can I grow these herbs somewhere to sell them afterward?"
In the stock, he had seeds of those herbs, but whether he should plant those seeds or not, he didn't know, and after thinking for some time, he muttered, "I think I should consult Master Dai Yi for this matter."
