"That's not true!" Ying Tuanzi refused at once. She and her family did come looking for Ying Nan because they wanted Yu Dong to give them the money but that did not mean that she was going to let the entire village look down on them like this.
She immediately shook her head and then emotionally said, "Our family has been looking for my brother Nan Nan ever since he went missing. Even the entire village was looking for him," she relayed to the villagers while Yu Dong leaned against the doorframe and listened to the stories that Ying Tuanzi had come up with.
This was her favourite thing to do when people like the Ying family came looking for her.
"We were really worried about Nan Nan, but we had no idea where he went. We could only wait for some sort of news to come to us such that we would know that Nan Nan was alive and well."
