Yu Cheng was not as rotten as their grandfather but he was selfish to his bones. Yu Tong did not want to stay close to a person like him which was why she acted like she did not see Yu Cheng, even though she did a moment ago.
Anyway, as long as she pretended to be blind and refused to acknowledge, there was no way Yu Cheng would shamelessly take the first step forward. He had too big of a pride to do so after getting snubbed. In fact, Yu Tong had to admit that this was the only good thing about Yu Cheng, he was prideful and never did anything embarrassing which was contrary to their grandfather who would have thrown a tantrum if she had refused to look at him.
