Old Master Ying was a mer who could not see through the situation and with his selfishness, it would be surprising if he could even see where he was wrong much less sense that his entire thought process was wrong.
However, Old Madam Ying could see through the situation with one glance. She might be a good for nothing but she was not stupid. She could see that the villagers were dissatisfied with her and her family, if this continued then they would be chased out of the village.
" Enough with your nonsense, can you not see what is happening?" Old Madam Ying snapped at her husband and then dragged him to the house.
However, Old Master Ying was not reconciled when he saw that Old Madam Ying was pulling him he could not help but say, " What are you getting angry for? Did I say a single thing wrong? It's that wretched bastard who ran away from home. Why am I being blamed? What did I even do wrong!"
