"Mom, where's Bram?" Jessica asked.
"Bram has an important meeting, he said, he went straight to the office earlier. He said when he came home from work he would come here," answered Carolin.
"Okay, then."
"Why? Do you miss it? Just left for a while, you've been looking for him like that," Carolin even teased her child while laughing.
"What, Mom. I've been a household for decades, it's not appropriate to still miss like that, I'm just like a teenager," Jessica smiled, her thin cheeks turning dice red.
"Mammy, so sweet," Clarissa mocked her mother instead.
"What's wrong with still feeling homesick even though you've been married for decades, I'm already twice as old as you, still often making out, feeling that kind of longing when your father was still around," said Carolin.
