The small hill, the stone house at the far end of the big field near the big oak tree, the whispering breeze, and the clear blue sky above…

But…the place in front of her although appeared the same, has changed.
The lush greenery that used to surround the house is now replaced with greyish wilted weeds peppered around. Only the trunk of the oak tree remained while the dry branches harrowingly swayed in the dry wind. A pungent scent rose from the once-fertile soil which is barren and parched now, twisting her stomach.
It smelled like death and looked like evil is occupying this place. It looked cursed.
[300 years…]
She closed her eyes as she remembered the good old days of her past when this place was filled with life.
